(CNSNews.com) - The House Ways and Means Committee voted 23 to 14 today to refer former IRS official Lois Lerner to Attorney General Eric Holder for possible criminal prosecution.
In a contentious open-to-the-public hearing that lasted only few minutes, the House Ways and Means Committee voted this morning to immediately go into a closed session to discuss a letter proposed by the committees majority to refer former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner to the Justice Department for possible criminal prosecution.
When Ranking Member Sander Levin (D.-Mich.), seeking to make a point of order, repeatedly interrupted Chairman Dave Camps (R.-Mich.) attempt to start a roll-call vote intended to take the committee into closed session, Camp told him: Just chill out. What is the gentlemans point of order?

BFD. The Justice Dept. will get right on it and have a report in say..5-10 years.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA .......!!!!!
SING BIRDY SING !
Why aren’t they DEMANDING an independent prosecutor for this obvious criminal operative?
Anyone betting that Holder will choose to prosecute?
That is really funny! Refering a criminal to be tried by her partner in crime.
Oh, that’s just plain racist.
Is there still a plan to hold a vote on Contempt for her?
If not - this is smelling like a cop-out by the House. Instead of the House holding the key to the case against Lerner - they are content to refer it to Holder where it will go nowhere.
Please tell me this is not whats happening.
These Republicans are like neutered animals. Refer it to Holder? Hillarious.
“Anyone betting that Holder will choose to prosecute?”
Course he won’t, but in light of the recent IRS admission that no liberal pacs/groups were audited or denied tax exemption, why aren’t some of these tea party pacs taking Lois Lerner and the IRS to a civil court?

Yeah, that’ll go nowhere fast.
Holder? He’s more corrupt than Lerner.
Finally someone grows a pair?
Contempt is tomorrow.
Holder,” Yeah good luck with your asparagus.”
The gun-running accomplice to mass murder (?) is in no way a serious AG.
The WH and it`s stooge, Holder, are lawless.
It’s like sending Frank Nitti to be prosecuted by Al Capone.
This is NOT moving anything along. This is going through the motions again. Without a special prosecutor and investigation, holder will file this with Black Panthers, Fast & Furious, Voter Fraud, Immigration, Gay Marriage, etc. Does anyone think Eric Holder will actually file charges against one of his minions? House Republicans (John Boner) fails again.

And this is where it'll stop:
