They look great! I just decided to live life without genoise. Of course, I don’t have somebody looking over my shoulder, consuming my product, and then grading me, thank the Creator! I made an apple slump with pears and a vinegar-based coleslaw this evening.

Going upstairs is usually not a problem - I have handrails on both sides and can pull myself up with little strain on my legs. I was out in the garden Sunday afternoon and overdid it - didn't feel too bad then - yesterday I was sore up and down the right leg. I should have seen it coming.

I can bake a lot of different things, but baking bread is something I never mastered.

I can cook pretty much any ethnic style, though.
It’s fun to experiment.. and if I screw it up well,
that’s why the good Lord invented dogs!
