Freshman GOP Rep. Vance McAllister (La.) - who ran as conservative Christian - has been caught on video in a romantic encounter with a woman believed to be on his congressional staff just before Christmas. The Ouachita Citizen, a newspaper based in West Monroe, La., posted a Dec. 23 surveillance video purportedly from inside McAllisters district office in Monroe.
The video shows McAllister kissing a woman identified by the newspaper as a congressional staffer for the first-term lawmaker. Federal payroll records show she is a part-time aide who began working for McAllister the day after he won his seat last year.
McAllister won the special election on Nov. 16 to replace Rep. Rodney Alexander (R-La.). McAllister won in the heavily Republican district by playing up his conservative credentials, including his Christian faith and his 16-year marriage.

Yeah, she's been riding the staff all day.
Remember this is Louisiana. Senator David Vitter, from the same state, got caught cavorting with prostitutes (he's married as well) and was reelected on a family-values platform. What is it with Louisiana?
Be more news about him than the democrat gun-runner from California.
I'm glad the MSM is all over stories like this.
It forces Conservatives to behave at a higher standard, which is a good thing.
Can't be the Rats, they're bored with "normal" sex. They love perverted stuff they can force on us politically. That's why "Slick Willy" never did anything wrong.
” What is it with Louisiana? “:
It is possibly due to their French social/historical component - French are somewhat more tolerant of infidelity.
Ever since the French Revolution they have rejected most sexual restrictions, including incest. Incest was just made illegal a year or two ago, IIRC.
Should use the Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards defense:
“The only way I can lose this election is if I’m caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy.”
“Vote for the Crook. It’s Important.”
Kate, I agree with you totally. McAllister is a cad and a sinner. But I have a contrary point to make, one that my wife agrees with so this is not just a male perspective.
Why do men cheat? Yes, many times just because they can. Politicians by definition exude power, and this both attracts women and makes men feel invulnerable. But sometimes a lack of love, and yes, sex, are the final things that push them over the edge.
This came up in my discussions with my bride when both Elliott Spitzer and Governor Mark Sanford were both caught cheating. They had lovely wives and, by all appearances, nice marriages. I can even write off Spitzer -- as a rich leftist, he perhaps doesn't believe in morality and sin -- but Sanford was a conservative Christian.
Remember when Senator and Presidential candidate John Edwards had that affair with that other gal? You had to look far and wide, but one obscure account had his wife Elizabeth referring to her husband the Senator as "my little hick" and basically disrespecting him. Nothing will drive a man into the arms of another woman more than a wife who doesn't appreciate him for who he is.
As a middle-aged Christian man married for over 20 years, I can say categorically that all wives -- okay, at least 8 out of 10 -- turn off in the sack by age 40. And their husbands are frustrated enough that they talk about it over campfires or on other guy outings after a beer or two loosens their tongue.
An honest liberal named Caitlin Flanagan studied this many years ago, and made the politically incorrect conclusion that while wives are not the ones sinning when a man strays, if a wife wants to keep hubby's eyes focused on her then she needs to make sex ... [this will get me flamed] ... somewhat sacrificial. Dr. Laura made the same point in her book, "Care and Feeding of Husbands."
All those old adages are operative: don't go to bed angry, don't use sex as a weapon, don't go on sex strikes, etc. By age 40, sex is like chocolate to a woman -- a treat to savored on occasion. Sex is like food to a man, something more essential to daily happiness. In other words, if the wife is satisfied with the frequency of sex, then you can bet that her husband is not. If she is turning him down 9 times out of 10, you can bet he is stewing inside, complaining to his friends, and looking more hungrily at other women.
So I stopped jumping to conclusions about men who stray. McAllister is a cad, a weenie, an adulterer, a sinner, a bozo, a dumbsh-t. But as he sits down with his wife to pick up the pieces, I hope that the above points are also topics of discussion.
“Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close up.”
Good golly, Miss Molly. Posed for the camera.
Willie Robertson please pick up the courtesy phone.
I too am shocked to my core.
Cool cat even had his shirtails out.
We oughta have some cute little adult conservative girls test these guys out BEFORE the elections.

Seems you don’t know too many women over the age of 40.
Sorry, your theory is backwards in relation to a woman’s age.
I agree with the rest, that being, remaining intimate with your life partner is vital. Just not sure how you came up with the idea that so many women are frigid past 40 years old.
Controversial dating site AshleyMadison.com is celebrating its 10th anniversary by continuing with aggressive global expansion plans, which have already established the online affair service in 17 countries. The U.S. continues to lead growth with over nine million members an indication of how mainstream the business infidelity has become. Personally, I'm not sure how you came up with the idea that so many women aren't.

Ha! Good points. I know a lot of women over the age of 40 but NONE of them tell me about their sexual proclivities. But their husbands sure do. So either their wives are frigid or their wives are cheating. I'm guessing that the wives just lost interest.
As for how I know women past 40 are frigid, again, I cite Caitlin Flanagan and Dr. Laura, confirmed with personal observation. If you're wondering, Google "the sexless marriage" and you'll get a ton of hits. Lots of articles and lots of books.
What's curious about these articles and books is that the sexless marriage is a recent phenomenon, according to the stats. [I haven't read them, I just read Flanagan and Dr Laura and they both referenced them.] I won't go into the reasons here. But I'm guessing it has to do with modern notions of marriage and how these have slipped into a woman's psyche. Also, I expect that some of those notions of "all sex is rape" and "all men are rapists" has had an impact as well. If a woman is under 50 she has read, heard, or studied the authors of these dubious works.
So THAT's how I came up with the idea.
However, I think you're wrong about the sex drives of women after 40. A poor sex life is in itself not the cause of a rocky marriage, it is a symptom. If a marriage is good, both partners should be willing to work to meet the other one's needs.
“Ever since the French Revolution they have rejected most sexual restrictions, including incest. Incest was just made illegal a year or two ago.”
1. The French Revolution occurred in France. The Cajuns are
French, from Canada. It had no impact on Louisiana
society whatsoever.
2. Incest was declared illegal in the state’s foundational
law code.
3. Have you never heard of Bill Clinton, Barney Frank,
Gary Stubbs, huge numbers of Hollywood entertainers, etc?
