Newt Gingrich laid it out perfectly on Sunday.
The forced ouster of Mozilla co-founder and CEO Brendan Eich this week was a sign of the "new fascism" of liberalism that's sweeping American life.
"People need to realize, if you're a young faculty member, in a lot of places if you're a young member of a news department and you have the wrong views meaning conservative you have no career," Gingrich said on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."
"This is just the most open and blatant example of the new fascism, which says, 'if you don't agree with us 100 percent, we have the right to punish you.'"
The best evidence Gingrich was right came from the half-hearted responses. Former Al Gore campaign manager Donna Brazile ludicrously tried to suggest Eich stepped aside voluntarily, while guest host Jonathan Karl tried pulling the race card into the discussion by asking about interracial marriage.
Gingrich stayed on point.
"I think the question is do you want to live in an open and tolerant society, or do you want impose your views at the cost of people's jobs?" he said.

From Newt Gingrich: Unlimited campaign donations will 'equalize the middle class and the rich' - The Raw Story, by David Edwards, 2014 April 06
..... "It is a big deal because it means that people can give to scores of campaigns," Gingrich told a panel on ABC News. "It's part of a continuum. It started a long time ago when they said that speech included money, which is the original decision. You, as a billionaire or millionaire, could go out and spend your own money. Of course, speech is money." "What's happen[ed] is that you've gone from that original decision to Citizens United, which said in effect that corporations could give, and created super PACs." ..... < snip > ..... Gingrich asserted that the next step would be to allow candidates to accept unlimited donations. "And you would overnight equalize the middle class and the rich," he declared. Former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich argued on Sunday that allowing unlimited campaign contributions was a necessary step to "equalize" the middle class with the rich. ..... < snip >
Pale Moon is a fork of Firefox that would be worth a look
He’s right. Speech is money...or, rather, money is speech. Air time doesn’t come free, and you need money - lots of it - to buy airtime.
The only people who were silenced by the old rules were people who relied on small or individual donors. Taking off all restrictions would give the middle class (he doesn’t mention the poor, since the poor generally don’t donate to candidates) collectively the clout that rich institutional donors such as the unions have.
What’s wrong with that?
Glad to hear it. I doubt that it will have any impact on the company, unfortunately, but maybe it will make it easier for Eich (or similarly treated people) to find a new job.
Some negative publicity has got to come to the “dating site” that organized the on-line social media campaign against him, too.
The Gaystapo has been around for years
they are just becoming more confident of their ability to have their way
Read “The Pink Swastika”
Keep in mind that this new fascism isn’t really new at all. It’s just another form of collectivism imposed by homosexual, collectivist, control freaks who have done this pretty much to every country where it has been imposed during the 20th century. Some 250 million people were murdered by them during this time period. It has gone by various names like fascism, communism, socialism, marxism, democracy, etc.
More good reading on the subject.

The "institutional/generational memory" of "What goes around comes around" may not be present for some of the younger members of liberal fascism / "progressive" movement.
But it will take a lot more than the "silent treatment" by the "silent majority" for a real pushback.
" 'Silent majority' will become 'silent minority' if it chooses to remain silent"
QTWeb is a small, powerful IE-based browser with some nice features (e.g., saving a Web page as PDF).
Also worth a look is SRWare Iron, similar to Google Chrome, but without Google's snooping.
I went ahead and added a link to Pale Moon in my reply.
I never have understood firing a person who is at the top—or near the top—of your company structure.
I think it only pisses them off & motivates them to go into business for themselves-—and to beat you at the game.
Travel, campaign staff and regular campaign activities may be severely limited, even when the "pro-specific-candidate" PACs are flush with money.
The qualified articulate middle-class people (not multimillionaires who could finance their own campaigns) could be tapped as candidates and adequately financed by others who are rich enough but have no political talents, time or interest in running for political office themselves.
Yeah - that's an equalizer that would significantly broaden qualified political talent pool running for all kinds of elective offices, and may reduce the time the candidates / politicians spend on fund-raising.
I am adding to it as i speak.
I have used Firefox extensively for years as a “power user” (and have about 140 tabs open across 8 thin rows), as it far surpasses all others due to the extns (TabMixPlus, Classic Compact, Colorful Tabs, Session Manager, etc.), thank God, and appreciate its community enabled customization, without pushing liberal ideology.
However, the forced ouster of Mozilla co-founder and CEO Brendan Eich this last week a cowardly yielding to pro-sodomite intimidation by those who are utterly intolerant of any expression that opposes their demand for special rights for their immoral wrongs.
What these activists/facists require will not stop at excluding traditional value execs from being hired, but will work for ultimately excluding Internet speech that in anyway opposes their destructive ethos.
In cyber terms, this exclusion of Mozilla is basically a manifestation of a “firewall’ that excludes those who oppose what is in effect a form of “male-ware” (considering 79% of new HIV cases are among those engaging in MSM - CDC), that of a form of corrupt “coding” introduced by data corruption.

The gay Nazis are just a part of the leftist fascism that has taken over, and has been taking over for a long time. It isn’t new, and when it comes to the American left, Hitler is alive and well. RINOs who play the game are no damn better.
