Such a poll would be meaningless. Most men (of any age) likely don’t care if anyone “notices” when they walk into a room or not. Straight men anyway.

Many women DO define themselves by their looks and are absolutely devastated when they start to fade.

I’ve heard that when women get boob jobs, they may look scrumptious, but it takes away a lot of their feeling in them, which destroys the whole point. I think that was the reason for the joke in “Mean Girls”, where the mom had a boob job and the dog was chewing on them and she didn’t even know.

Fake boobs are a complete turn off to me. Udder and complete.

Women who enjoyed getting lots of attention from "hot" guys in their 20's, while ignoring the "nice" guys who might have actually had some interest in marrying, now arrive at 50 and realize that "Sex and the City" was just a TV show, their party days are over, and they've missed their window of opportunity.

Great feeling isn't it? Not quite there yet (age still starts with a five) but I know where you are coming from. I have been blessed with a wife for life and can't imagine another way.

Someone once said, “ Everything is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power”.

Some personal observations; Women lose their sexuality with age, as men do, but men are not dependent on sex for power. Some women don’t use sex for power, and they are called “conservative”, and their power usually increases with age.

Then add the irony how so many conservative women stay so beautiful in their old age. And liberal older women? Ugh!! God does have a sense of humor, doesn’t he? (Or she?)

Turnabout seems fair, is it not said that younger women do not notice men after they hit 40 or so? We have been dealing with it for some time now. Women expect something different?

For guys, from teens to mid 20's, you're not noticed unless you are tall, handsome, and witty.

From mid 20's to 40, you are finally noticed by women who spent their 20's chasing the "hot" guys, but now feel their biological clocks running down, and want somebody to commit to their high-mileage selves before it's too late.
