“males cant be trained to put the lid down.”
Never understood the big deal — I always check before I sit down.
Having raised all boys and a husband, I learned that very early on. It would be so much simpler if they installed a urinal and a toilet in home bathrooms. It would fit the needs of both sexes. Even when I get up in the middle of the night, I feel to see where the seat is. Being the only female, I was at a disadvantaged. My boys are adults now, but husband is 73, you can’t retrain at that age.
It is hard enough to get him to eat a better diet than take 2 cholesterol pills each day, which I am positive cause a lot of his muscle pain. They tried 5 on me, after I pitched a $200 bottle of WelChol after just 5 pills, I told the doc no more. I have lowered my tris by stopping nearly all sweets, including high sugar fruits, limiting carbs to veggies, 1 slice of whole wheat bread if I eat bread. Use pan sprays and bake, broil, grill most meat, limit portion to 4 oz. I have halved my cholesterol numbers with just food and cooking changes, it also has lowered his some. But his is genetic, where mine is not, and he is not a salad eater, meat and potatoes, bread and not in small portions. no sweet is safe if he finds a candy bowl.
