Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will make a decision on whether hell enter the 2016 presidential race by the end of this year, he said during an interview on Fox News Channel Sunday during the 25th anniversary celebration of his fathers presidency in College Station, Texas.
...
He said in the Fox News interview that illegal immigration is, for many people, an effort to provide for their families, and not a felony.
Its an act of love. Its an act of commitment to your family, Bush said. I honestly think that that is a different kind of crime. There should be a price paid, but it shouldnt rile people up that people are actually coming to this country to provide for their families.
Recent polling shows that the Florida Republican would be a formidable candidate: In a CBS News/New York Times poll conducted in February, 41 percent of Republicans said they would like to see Bush run, edging out Sen. Rand Paul (39%), Sen. Marco Rubio (32%), New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (31%) and Sen. Ted Cruz (24%).

You might be right, but I really think you give them too much credit.
He should run for mayor of Tijuana.
That's pretty much it.
If your party can't field a candidate that is demonstrably pro-life, pro-gun, against amnesty, and for smaller government, you aren't conservative. You are liberal lite.
And liberal lite always loses.
Jesus won't be running for President.

You're preachin' to the choir bro..........but I'm not about to cut off my nose to spite my face...........
I didn't vote for Romney in the primary but I also didn't stay home on election day to whine and refused to vote because "my guy" didn't get on the ballot..........
That's the problem with the idiot PURISTS who likely wouldn't even vote for Jesus if he ran..........
Gotta love you purists
What are you doing on Free Republic since you disdain Conservatives so much!
Romney’s loss was his own fault. He ignored Conservative voters and suffered the consequences.
Perhaps you need to lecture liberal purists like Dede Scozzafeva & Mike Castle & Steve Latourette to stop being purist and support Conservative candidates.
Jesus fed the masses out of his own efforts. He didn't use government coercion to feed the masses.

Siddown and shaddup!
That's one of the stupidist statements ignoring the fact that 4 million Republicans stayed home that I have ever read..........
OK then, for the sake of argument, why didn't the GOP just outright support Obama?
This should be interesting..........
Proof?
And not a dime's worth of difference between your statement and the drunk on the street begging for a dollar.........
If you want those votes, run a conservative.

By the end 2016? Well, hell, it'll be too late by then, but, hey, whatever. Better never than late.
“The entire GOP-e machine will be pushing him to do it, so as to keep Rand Paul...”
****
Rand Paul is running to be the GOPe’s VP nominee. He’d love to run on a Bush/Paul ticket.
Hey bro, I've been here for thirteen years before you even signed up.........You don't know a damn thing about me.......
Access the archives during the Clinton years and you will see what conservatism and this site was truly all about.
It certainly wasn't about nit-picking over my guy is better than yours and if my guy doesn't win the primary then I'm staying home............
Like I said before the PURISTS will be the downfall in the next election just as they were in the past two..........
Purist?!? That’s a laugh, frankly even mediocre would look good these days, they can’t even get up to that level.
Everybody's free to run, even you...........

I don’t want Jeb Bush, but I don’t think he would make a bad President, I don’t think Mitt Romney would make a bad President either. Certainly better than the Kenyan. In fact I think I could be better President than the Kenyan, but I digress. There are many candidates I would rather see than Bush or Romney, but I want strong leadership and we haven’t had that.
Just say no to Jeb.
Its the Reagan democrats who've abandoned the GOPe. Its no coincidence they've increasingly done so as the GOPe has distanced itself from the common sense Reagan expoused.
But the GOPe of late has made no secret of its long held contempt for conservatives - their base. They're out of the closet now.
At least the democrats know who it is they must cater to in order to win. The GOPe apparently hasn't figured it out yet. Who are the idiots?
