The uniparty at work!

No member of the House GOP leadership has publicly hailed the fix, which was tucked, at Republicans' request, into legislation preventing a cut in payments to doctors who treat Medicare patients.
It is unclear how many members of the House rank and file knew of it because the legislation was passed by a highly unusual voice vote without debate.
Appeasement Weasels.
Voice vote.
Conservative Tea Party members of the House Republican caucus MUST do all they can to prevent this sort of thing. It amounts to no more than prescribing temporary “pain killers” to distract from the underlying problem and to keep folks from focusing on that underlying problem. The underlying problem is, of course, the cancer of Obamacare that is eating away at the corpus of America and slowing weakening our nation.
Let folks see and experience the full flowering of Obamacare as we lead up to the 2014 and 2016 elections. They need to be made aware of the ghastliness of the Obamacare cancer. Let’s not let the CURRENT (i.e., until after either the 2014 or 2016 election) GOPe Congressional leadership run interference for their DemocRAT partners in the ruling elite.
We’re going to see more and more of this, as long as there are two national parties which both believe that government is the answer to problems. The term “uniparty” is really dead-on.
This is why I always tell people I’m a RINO, because the only thing that ties me to today’s Republican Party is the name - I have to be registered as “something”, and thus I’m a Republican “In Name Only”.
Until we get a Conservative Party or something like it that views government as the problem rather than the solution, we will see endless attempts to modify Obamacare like this.
And I’ll say it right now: The Republican Party does not want Obamacare to be repealed and will not support candidates who do. I’d love to have someone come back around November 1, 2016 and show me that this prediction was wrong.
The provision eliminates a cap on deductibles for small group policies that
the Department of Health and Human Services already had waived through 2015.
This legislation means the cap will never go into effect.
Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tenn. and advocate of repeal said,
“Maybe you say it helps Obamacare, but it really helps the small businessman.”
The G.O.P. (GAVE OBAMA POWER)
is the party that created RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE
and imposed it FOR ALL, FOR ROMNEY, FOREVER.
The G.O.P. has continued to keep itself EXEMPT
of course. And its families.
And its staff. And their families.
And Moslems. And Criminals. And illegals.
Bastards!
The GOP “Embraces the Suck.”
And the leadership did this on a voice vote with NO debate.....another reason John Bonehead should loss his job
Obamacare ping.
I’m not a fan of the Republican establishment, and yes many of them want to be part of a permanent ruling class. However, at this point; w/o the Senate or the White House repeal is not a realistic option.
Given that the states have never delegated to the feds, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for public healthcare purposes, the GOP needs to propose a healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. And if the states choose to ratify the GOP's amendment then Congress will actually have the power to legislatively address healthcare and the GOP will be a hero.
Of course the GOP will be campaigning against Obamacare in the
upcoming elections. No wonder they had a voice vote. The gutless
bastards are cowards.
Just see my tag line for the reason why.
Glad you’re thinking and not just emoting. There’s too much emoting on FR. We need thoughtful analysis and response. Too many FReepkin Littles.
Thank you.
This is so wrong...
this was done by a voice vote when GOP leadership tricked conservative members to not be on the floor when the voice vote happened : This is how it happened:
