Former President George W. Bush has painted dozens of portraits of world leaders he worked with while in office. His paintings are on public display for the first time at "The Art of Leadership: A Presidents Personal Diplomacy, an exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas. Before the exhibit opened, Bush said none of the leaders in his display had seen their portraits, but he predicted they would react favorably.

Technically they arent great, but damn if they dont say something about their subjects. Its like he tried to pain their souls rather than their faces. I absolutely agree.

The only thing odumbo has ever “painted” is misery and gloom all over our country with his never ending lies, failed policies, massive over spending (personal and otherwise) and his never ending drive to divide this once great nation.
Personally, I would like to see him hung for treason and none too soon I might add.

It had either a straight 6 or straight 4 and a three speed manual trans. It also came standard with a heater and radio. This was about as nice a car you could get: most could not afford them. Most could only afford the POS ladas. I guess having a car with a straight 6 back then was really something. I saw a show about the 2 cylinder cars the Communist nations used to turn out. Wow. Just wow.

Maybe this is the kind of art Obama will paint in retirement.

I see the horse’s ass, but who’s the black guy supposed to be?
To: SkyPilot
I’d looked for his painting of Obama, but then remembered that Bush only painted world leaders.

To paraphrase Andy Bernard, "that art is bad."
But hey, it's a pastime.

The article I was reading about the Volga was you had to be “connected” e.g. you had to know somebody or be somebody important to get one of them. most if they could afford them could only afford the moskovitch or lada which came with three or four cylinder engines. Or if you were really desperate an imported east German trabant which had an air cooled 2 cylinder 2 cycle engine and a cheap resin- plastic body.

Its not an MG. Looks Russian. Thanks - you are correct. Celtic Conservative correctly confirmed that.
The first picture I saw (next to the painting in GW Bush library) was sort of small, so I took a guess.
I thought it kind of looked like this.
