House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan said he rejects the premise that President Barack Obamas healthcare law cant be repealed now that its first class of 7 million enrollees has signed up.
I dont think it can last, Ryan said in an interview with Bloomberg Television to air on Political Capital with Al Hunt this weekend.
Ryan this week unveiled a budget plan that seeks to repeal the 2010 law known as Obamacare and would revise the U.S. safety net in an effort to eliminate the deficit in 10 years. The House will vote on the plan next week. House Democrats will release their alternative as soon as Monday, April 7.
The Republican budget proposal will serve as a contrast with Democrats fiscal priorities before the U.S. midterm election on Nov. 4. Senate Democratic leaders have said they plan to tie House members vying for Senate seats in Colorado, Montana and Louisiana to Ryans proposal.
This is the fourth year weve passed a budget like this, fourth year weve said heres how we plan on balancing the budget and paying off the debt, Ryan said.
Ryan and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Patty Murray agreed in December on a two-year budget deal that sets top-line spending at $1.014 trillion for the 2015 fiscal year that starts Oct. 1. As such, Republicans dont have to prepare a budget, Ryan said, though we think we should say what we believe in if we dont like the direction the countrys headed.

Exhibit A, nuff said ??
Still 2011???
FUPR
Hows that for OBAMA-care??
Exactly
If we vote democrats out, republicans still aren’t going to do a single thing about it.
They want it. They are liars and game players.
Their 40 something votes to repeal that meant absolutely nothing is the only ting they will do, and they are doing it to fool people who vote for them, and it works.
The GOP is the enemy, same as democrats.
They are the government. Same beast, different head.
===============================================
There's more ways than one to obliterate the O/Care atrocity. ......This needs to go viral.
EXHIBIT ONE We cannot overlook the distinct possibility that forcing the "magic number" caused the vote-crazed, desperate Obamatons to phony up the O/Care enrollment list:
-----falsifying official govt documents is a felony,
-----forgery could be involved,
----falsified documents sent over the internet means criminal wire fraud could be in the mix.
============================================================
EXHIBIT TWO Govt factotums "pencil-whipping" official documents should be considered:
-----1. To approve a document without actually knowing or reviewing what it is that is being approved.
----- 2. To complete a form, record, or document without having performed the implied work or without supporting data or evidence.
USAGE "Knowing the auditors were coming in just a week, we chose to pencil whip the quarterly inventory forms for the last year." (This term is popular among military personnel and auditors.)
=================================================
EXHIBIT THREE The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.
Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting factual information such as prices or monetary amounts
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Concealing assets or property WRT obtaining federal/state grants, and/or subsidies
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document
A person can only be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party. /
Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility
Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years. Also, if government documents or authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. ..... legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.
Hey Ryno just shut the f%^k up and go away.
“Exhibit A”? Yes, Ryan’s actions in this regard — attempting to repeal Obamacare — should be Exhibit A.
Or were you trying to be an ass to a fellow FReeper, one whose been FReeping 7 years longer than you?
You’re wrong. We’re not all the same.
I’m sure Eric Holder will get right on that.
I’m sorry to sound so skeptical, but your points only matter if we have a Justice Dept that is concerned with justice.
I thought that meant he was saying, "Scout's Honor! The modern kind of scout!"
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEFUNDED !! Ted Cruz had it beat, but the backstabbing RINOs were more interested in stopping constitutional conservatives than stopping Obamacare. The ptb in the 'pub party let the media and the dems go unchallenged in setting the rhetoric that the "government closure" was not supported by a majority of people. Everyone I know was fed up with Obama's infantile and targetted closures, and ready to storm national monuments and parks to get access.
Nobody supports unprincipled power hungry sellouts. And about now, Ryan is pretty close to the top of that list.
It will not collapse of its own weight. It will guaranty the election an reelection of democrats for decades to come (despite a possible setback in November) because they supposedly are smarter and more compassionate than Republicans and are the only ones who can “fix” it — just like every other social welfare program/entitlement.
Are you an elected or appointed member or employee of the US federal government?
Didn’t thinks so.
You have no friends in Washington, and neither does anyone else.
It’s time for you to wake up.
I’m starting to understand how dictators take over:
“THEY” move the football an inch. A lot of people complain but don’t do anything.
“THEY” move it a foot. A few people complain and try to do something and get ejected from the game never to be seen or heard from again.
“THEY” pick the ball up and start walking toward the endzone. The officials watch, half the crowd cheers and the coaches on the other team stand on the sideline with their heads hanging down in defeat.
In the locker room those same coaches tell the players “They simply have too much power. We can’t beat them right now. We need to get better players that the fans will support. Next season will be our chance to stop them and turn this thing around.”
One more thing. Next season it’s the same old thing and less and less fans go to the games.
We’re fighting back... and if you think we’re not very powerful look how the left is responding.
When the IRS went after conservative groups they did it KNOWING it was against the law. And they did it anyway. That should give you some idea of how seriously they’re taking us.
I think we’re winning. It might not look that way, but we’re messed with their game... big time. Have faith sad one...
Yes, we can fight liberals but we don't live in a conservative land of unicorns.
Example: Let's say you're on a field of battle and you and your 16 buddies are up against 10,000 warriors... I'm on the sidelines pissed that your weapons aren't better quality...but you take them on and win... That means you're in the 'conservative land of unicorns'... because in the real world 16 against 10,000 means the 16 lose.
I mention this because usually only liberals live in Unicorn land... but I guess we have our version too.
The problem is our “coaches” aren’t fighting back. They’re throwing the games. When they tell us who they believe can win, they’re telling us who they want us to vote for so they can keep the status quo. We don’t need better players. We need better coaches.
Boehner, Ryan and a whole lot of RINO Senators did not side with the demands for change. Do you really think they'll be less disgusting if they gain control of the US Senate? Hint...GWB had both houses for awhile. He increased the invasion of the US, expanded Medicare to Part D, did his global recreational warmongering thing for the elite and was okay with No Child Left Behind.
Ted Cruz has the ability to articulate our side and had a plan. It's backstabbers in his supposedly own party that let us down. So why should we wait? Let them figure out something now. If they can't, maybe they should defer to Ted Cruz and muzzle McCain, Boehner, Ryan and their fellow backstabbers.
