Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Robert Papp said that in 2010 Obama told U.S. military leaders to accept his push for gays in the military, and that if they didn't, they could take the "opportunity to resign [their] commissions."
Papp said these things in a video BuzzFeed obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The video shows a speech Papp delivered to Coast Guard Academy cadets during which he was asked how he would deal with enforcing an order with which he didn't agree. He used the story of his 2010 meeting with Obama as an example of how service members' duties can be compelling and conflicting with personal desires....

Barry is a fag.
It’s no surprise that it’s Obama’s way or the Hi-way,
and there’s going to be a lot of Americans hitting
the road because of it.
OKEY-DOKEY...
Barry wants to put gays on the front lines and wants to dump perfectly good Admirals.
what a surprise...
Cat Overboard! Cat Overboard!
And there weren’t 5 resignations placed on his desk? If you disagree with the policy, then publicly resign and walk away.
Stand up for what you believe in.
Integrity I think they call it. Seems to be missing now days in the upper ranks of the military.
Romney was a true believer in homosexualizing the military 20 years ago, that is the reason that we need conservatives, not libertarians, and not “moderates”, as GOP nominees.
Mitt Romney:
One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clintons dont ask, dont tell, dont pursue military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.
Situational ethics. Many of us practiced it in the last election and the military brass practiced it here over the gay issue.
Just remember all the excuses people posted why they HAD to vote for Romney and how many screamed ‘PURIST!” and “Principles don’t matter”. None of those people should be shocked that the brass is like them. Because they are one and the same.
The next time anyone sees a freeper spouting the ‘no matter what’ nonsense, this is the perfect example to throw in their face as what that attitude gets them. Liberals have done much to destroy integrity in America. People abandoning it in exchange for ‘wins’ that are anything but, nor ever come, have IMO, damaged it far more. Because it’s US that are supposed to have, espouse and demand integrity.
Should have RESIGNED!
Save
say nothing. when asked, go along. drum out any fags you come across.
if they give you the ‘opportunity’ to resign... decline.
force them to make the case. and no matter what case they fabricate, out the fact that they were looking to advance faggotry.
Trust me when I tell you this....if Fags voted conservative, this would not be happening.
People in the Civ world better start to do that very thing on a regular basis as well. No one can tell me for every gay job applicant/employee with the needed skills that there are not 10 straight ones that can do it without the agenda that comes attached.
People financially contributing to the gay agenda by hiring them makes no sense to me.
Well, sleep knowing your honor and integrity are still intact.
Would have been nice if all officers resigned.
14k male on male sexual assaults in 2013 and 22 suicides a day. Great job POS POTUS on your social engineering of the military.
EVIL PURIST! EVIL PURIST! ;)
When I was in the Army, if a man made a sexual move on another man, it was his last day on earth. The letter to the parents said that your son was killed in a training accident. My, how times have changed. I know this because I was there and I saw the letters.
Any officer with integrity would have resigned when the Usurper was installed in office.
Geejus. Just don’t let God guide out conscience.
We have boundaries and constantly summon up the courage to cross it.
