In 1946, Congress passed a law that gave hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities grants and loans for construction and modernization. In return, they agreed to provide a reasonable volume of services to persons unable to pay and to make their services available to all persons residing in the facility’s area. The program stopped providing funds in 1997, but about 170 health care facilities nationwide are still obligated to provide free or reduced-cost care.
Since 1980, more than $6 billion in uncompensated services have been provided to eligible patients through Hill-Burton.
Basically, the Feds paid to construct a bunch of new Hospitals.

Hill-Burton Act
The Hospital Survey and Construction Act, also known as the Hill-Burton Act, is a United States federal law passed in 1946. This act responded to the first of Truman’s proposals and was designed to provide federal grants and guaranteed loans to improve the physical plant of the nation’s hospital system. Money was designated to the states to achieve 4.5 beds per 1,000 people. The states allocated the available money to their various municipalities, but the law provided for a rotation mechanism, so that an area that received funding moved to the bottom of the list for further funding.
As is always the case, these federal dollars came with strings attached. Facilities that received Hill-Burton funding had to adhere to several requirements. They were not allowed to discriminate based on race, color, national origin, or creed – except for the proviso that allowed for discrimination so long as separate, equal facilities were located in the same area.

Yes, Roberts became “castrated” by the Chicago-Godfather-Thugs’ surprise visit at SCOTUS on January 14, 2009. But ALSO on that date the whole nation became impotence regarding touching the NBC Article II. Section 1. Clause V., and Arpaio is getting nowhere either!!!
He also “castrated” Barry with the Syrian crisis he (Barry) started by the “Arab Spring”!!!
You can drive your car programed from a Satellite telling you when and how to turn within inches accuracy. Or you can navigate ships position on the Oceans 24/7 within feet’s precision and you tell me you can’t find a high tech sophisticated air craft in the sky, please give me a break. And NSA knows exactly where and what you are doing!

It had/has 20 high tech geeks onboard with some sophisticated hard ware onboard in route to the china man bypassing (cheating) U.S.’s Carlyle group, etc. You can fly and remotely steer all kinds of drones all over the world killing targeted people, you probably also can remotely steer a high tech air craft down to “unknown” Diego Garcia AFB and get your hands on the geeks and their equipment. The people of Russia, on the whole know their country needs a strong and yes even harsh leader, but in their culture this is the norm and has been for hundreds of years.....
I do think some cultures need a tough hand because the crime and corruption is so entrenched.
YEs, Putin is a thug...and it’s his way or the highway. But IMO there’s many nation leaders, including ours, who are just as vicious...they simply hide it and cover their tracks.
Putin’s taken a hard hold on Russia...but I think for a time it needs to be so....the people want more freedom but they have to understand that with that comes respossibility too...and the culture isn’t quite there yet as I see it.
I am aware of the Russian Mafia...which really has had it’s role in RUssia politics for years...The seven Oligarchs who rules under Yelstin were as much that...and Putin of course has his own thugs to move about. What nation leader doesn’t?
My impression of the Fox coverage is that they love Christie, and are working daily to restore his image. Most of the people who work at Fox have a New York/NJ/CT view of the USA.

The structure of the nation is such that a political neophyte being elected president is virtually impossible. Even if he CURED CANCER he’d have no shot against the pros.
I’m expecting Jeb v. Hil in 2016. Ugh.
I don’t expect Dr Carson to run for President. I think he is campaigning for the job of healthcare czar under Republican control.
Obmacare is going to either be overturned because of the states exchange clause or severely disassembled and rebuilt. Dr Carson wants that job imo
