"I am afraid that day has arrived. Putin's task is to take back what a certain streak of Russian nationalism views as not only rightfully, but sacredly, what should be Russian. Obama may satisfy some supporters and even some critics by taunting Putin and Russia as a "regional power" of no great consequence acting out of "weakness." This will only bait the bear to lash out to demonstrate who is really weak and who is strong. It is a game that Obama is not psychologically equipped to understand, let alone win."

Interesting that this is from CNN. Earlier today I was in a business establishment that had CNN on in the background. I tried not to pay attention to their crap, but their inflection came through loud and clear in support of Obama's strong leadership --
"Earlier today Putin reached out to Obama, seeking a way to resolve the problem in Crimea."
Yeah. Sure. Putin is scared, and he's asking Obama to rescue him.
The posted article seems much more accurate: Obama is in way over his head.

If the Mexican Army advanced into Southern California to take back what was 'rightfully theirs' by some claimed 'broken treaty' (i.e. Guadalupe Hidalgo) obstinately to protect an overwhelming populace of Spanish-speaking Californians, I don't think I'd lift a finger to help the current crop of left wing Californian political fascists fight back no matter how much I disliked Mexico.
So, why should I care about the Crimea that's 8000 miles away from my home?

Every time I hear the word flexibility, I'm infuriated. He's made a mess of everything he's touched.
And that includes Obamacare.
