The White House on Friday touted the story of a staunch Republican who says hes getting the best coverage hes ever had under ObamaCare.
I am a staunch Republican, a self-proclaimed Fox News addict, and I didn't vote for the President, Mark Beard, a retired psychologist from North Carolina, wrote in a letter posted on the White House website. And I'm here to tell you that ObamaCare works. I'm living proof.
Beard said he was paying $428 a month for chemotherapy treatment and was upset when he got a notice from his insurer saying his plan would be canceled. But he said the plan he obtained through HealthCare.gov is now only costing him $62 a month. It's the best health care I have ever had, he said.
I may not be a supporter of the President. But now, I get mad when I see ObamaCare dragged through the mud on television, he continued. And even though I regularly tune in to conservative pundits, I'd like to tell them they're getting it wrong. ObamaCare works.

How come when I google this guy's name he doesn't come up?
I'd think he'd light up like a Christmas tree.
Late 50s, psychologist, retired.
Kind of narrows it down, but no I can't find him.
Maybe another FReeper can find this guy.

Here's the smoking gun that proves he's lying:

Mark Beard, a retired psychologist from North Carolina, wrote in a letter posted on the White House website. There is no such person. This is BS written by some democrat operative.

If he is beyond retirement age, then he would be on Medicare instead. If he has not yet reached retirement age, then he is sitting back not working making very little income, and he’s getting a big subsidy that the rest of us are paying for.

I’ve just been watching a DVD of the 2009-2011 alien-invasion series, “V”, and the methods of the aliens almost exactly correspond to the tactics of liberals, especially those of the Obama administration: infiltrate religion, education, and science, seduce the young with “coolness,” flattery, and sex, demonize or co-opt potential critics, promise healing miracles, control the media, and be utterly ruthless in demoralizing and isolating critics.

Okay, I’ll bite. Why isn’t a retired psychologist on Medicare, with chemo included in his drug coverage?

"I JUST LOVE INVESTIGATIVE FREEPERS!! Good job!!!"
Somebody's got to do it, and the MSM refuses. I outed a "lifelong Republican" who wrote a letter-to-the-editor in 2008 criticizing Palin; it turned out she was a long-time feminist Democratic activist with a lot of footprints on the Internet. A blatant liar.

"a self-proclaimed Fox News addict"
This alone is a huge red flag. Fox News looms much larger in the psyche of libs than conservatives, most of whom appreciate Fox's conservative slant but hardly take it as an oracle. Conservatives criticize Fox all the time, and I have never heard a real conservative describe him/herself as a Fox "addict." My BS detector is flashing, beeping, and smoking.

Fresh from his appearance on TCM this evening, an old Hollywood hand and friend of arch-conservative Charlton Heston weighs in.
