Everybody was clapping!
Just that only one person was actually using both hands.

If it were a Republican:
“Amid plunging popularity in the polls, the president faced another embarassing rejection today during a news conference in which only one person applauded at the end of this speech.
Sources say the rapid decline in ratings has been an unending source of personal stress and frustration, for the unpopular president.
Since it’s a democrat:

It was a presser.
Perhaps the overseas media are not such lapdogs? That would be difficult to believe.

Obama and his feckless foreign policy of appeasement and 'leading from behind' (far behind) is not only weakening the U.S. but in doing so he is alienating allies, emboldening enemies and making much of the world nervous because whatever they may complain about regarding America, they realize that up until now, our nation has often been the only thing between chaos and stability in the world. Under Obama, that is drifting away, by design.
Ironically for the narcissist Obama, his deliberate show of weakness is reflecting badly on him more than anything. Hence, the tepid reception to his latest puff of wind. He deserves the disdain.

Not only was it one person who clapped 3 times, but Idi Obama made three gestures seeking applause before he actually said, “applause” and then the three claps were made in derision.

I think even the guy who clapped thought that he could be turned off that way - like the lights. Clap on, clap off.
Or he was clapping because the speech was over.

So Obama is weakening America. What happens to all the countries that were trying to use the US as a crutch to prop up their socialist states once US support collapses?

I don’t think there is usually applause after a press conference. Not even from Obama’s lapdogs here in the US media.
To: Kaslin
If he wants applause, he should announce his resignation. That should work at least once.
