Its really very, very simple for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
New Jerseys absurd citizen control fetish doesnt play well in New Hampshire, Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Utah, Nevada, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, or Michigan. These state comprise the first two months of the 2016 Presidential primary season, and the majority of Republican voters in these states are either very pro-gun to begin with, or are trending towards passing much more Second Amendment-friendly laws.
Any candidate that doesnt do well in these early primaries can kiss their Presidential aspirations goodbye, and one of the fastest ways to sink a Republican nomination in the current political environment is to be seen as a champion of gun control.

Fat boi is a Liberal bridge to nowhere.
“Christie Will Either Veto Magazine Restriction Bill, Or Kiss His Presidential Aspirations Goodbye
My advice to him would be to do both ...
What’s to kiss goodbye? Those aspirations are dead.
Hopefully this will do the RINO lard ass in.
Great point.
In what country does Fat Bastard have any chance of becoming President?
yeah...he is going nowhere fast. Cruz or gov. Walker all the way.
Walker for POTUS
Cruz for Senate Majority Leader
The kids on the block are all in for Jebbie now. Sorry Chrissy.
I think the train done left the station.
Do I have to choose one outcome to root for?
But...but he’s a moderate, you meanie-old right-wing FReepers! Don’t you know we need those precious moderates to win? < /GOPe consultants >
He is toast no matter what anyway.
Governor Christie should veto this.
Ok..sounds good..or VP.
Amen.
Those of us stuck here are watching closely and participating in being heard.
“If he signs this, tens of thousands of felons will be produced in New Jersey.”
“No bill of attainder or ex post facto law shall be passed.”
“”...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
What gives New Jersey politicians the right to amend the Constitution on a whim, willy nilly?
Just asking
