Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said the fault of struggling to sign up on the Obamacare exchanges didnt lie with the faulty website, but with the people who werent educated on how to use the Internet.
Explaining the reasoning behind the latest Obamacare delay, Reid said too many people just didnt know to use their computer properly and needed more time. Apparently, it had nothing to do with the well-documented failings of the website that have embarrassed the White House for months.
We have hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up who didnt get through, he said. There are some people who are not like my grandchildren who can handle everything so easily on the Internet, and these people need a little extra time. Its not the example they gave us is a 63-year-old woman came into the store and said, I almost got it. Every time I just about got there, it would cut me off. We have a lot of people just like this through no fault of the Internet, but because people are not educated on how to use the Internet.
Its just the latest strange moment for the embattled Reid,

I worked with sex offenders who had been through treatment. One thing they learned was that sex offenders speak softly ( like Reid); but not all people who speak softly are sex offenders.
Ignorance about the internet is shown in those who think it takes more than half billion dollars to build such a website.
I used http://ehealthinsurance.com to buy an HSA in 2006. Too bad that technology has been lost.
Harry the Red doesn’t need to test his knowledge of the Internet on the obamaCare websits — he’s exempted himself.
OMG, the milennials know how to use the internet.
I do like it when he insults them though. Maybe they can see who the democrats are.
I doubt it though.
It’s like a series of tubes...
That would be a fun test. Let’s grab a random uninsured 27-year-old and have him and Reid both try to sign up for a policy on Healthcre.gov at the same time, and see who can get done first (assuming either can at all).
Jon Carry served in Vietnam. In case you’ve forgotten. I think his tour of duty lasted about one day, the day he won 3 Purple Hearts.
If only Gore had designed the internet to be more user-friendly.

In Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, Caesar says, “The fault lies in ourselves, not in our stars, that we are underlings.”
Translation to Harry R. “Look in the mirror, dumkauf.”
Must be Harry doesn’t check those Internets much himself, otherwise He’d know there are plenty of middle aged to older people posting some real pointed comments to his facebook page.
How much will knowledge and experience help you when you click on a button and nothing happens, or you get an error message?
How much will knowledge and experience help you when you fill out a series of forms and discover that everything you typed in has disappeared?
How much will knowledge and experience help you when the website tells you that you are enrolled, but the insurance company knows nothing about it?
America Online, isn’t that where everyone gets their Email?
Excellent. I'll use this line on my Tax Return to see if the IRS will accept it.

Harry ends up at a porn site every time he googles “Cow boy poetry”
Some people just don’t have the mental capacity to use the internet. Most are democrat voters.
easy.. set your home page to The Drudge Report and make a favorites link to Free Republic and you have just about everything you need on the internet :)
“It’s a poor workman who blames his tools.” Harry Reid is a tool.
Aren’t there some white-coated gentlemen waiting to take this guy back to the bug-house?
