Leggings? Yoga Pants? Distracting?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

When I was a youngster in school, we had Hot Pants and Mini Skirts. Now THAT was distracting.

But in a totally cool way.

I remember girls wearing those, too. Hot pants with a bit of cheek showing was not at all uncommon and no one complained.

When lots of girls are wearing them, it is no longer distracting after a while.

When I was a youngster in school, moms were still sending daughters to school in very proper button-down sweaters over a blouse or sweater top. Skirts were to the knees or nearly so.

We used to ditch the bottom blouse layer, button up and turn backwards the sweater. We'd hike up the skirts as much as we could without getting sent to the principals office, and if we were sent the lengths were "appropriate" by the time we got there.

When I was in Jr. High in the early 90s, it was "biker shorts" that were creating a commotion They were quickly put on the banned list.


But this managed to slide???

I graduated high school in 1977. I still fondly remember tube tops...sigh.

Why not go to the root cause of boys distractions in school and just ban girls outright, along with women teachers?

Some of the girls wore tube tops in 8th Grade (1981). Then there were the ever-popular ass-showing shorts for teen girls at that time.

that said, these days? I find the uncovered leggings to be quite distracting.

Girls in my school had to kneel and their skirt had to hit the floor. My greatest memory was the cheerleader tryouts when the student body had a vote on a couple of members. One of the girls had non-cheerleader well endowed body. She did her routine clearly braless. Every male vote put her on the squad.
