Protestors chanting pro-gay slogans and advocating for equal rights could be heard along Fifth Ave. as the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade proceeded through Manhattan. Mayor Bill de Blasio and other politicians skipped attending the festivity after organizers said gay groups were not allowed to carry gay-friendly signs or openly identify as LGBT. That caused beer brands Guinness and Heineken to drop their sponsorship of the event.
Not all Irish eyes were smiling Monday as the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicked off in midtown Manhattan amid a protest over participants carrying pro-gay signs.
Half a city block was crowded with people waving signs that said “NYPD SHAME” and “Bigotry shouldn’t be paraded.”
A large rainbow flag stretched across the sidewalk with the words “Boycott Homophobia” written on it.
Bagpipers in plaid kilts strove to be heard above the chants of “Cops out, Queers in,” as the procession moved past.
Bill de Blasio was conspicuously absent from the front of the parade — the first time in 20 years the city’s mayor didn’t participate.
Organizers of the parade, the longest-running in city history, say that gay groups can march but are not allowed to carry gay-friendly signs or openly identify themselves as LGBT.

“No gay person has ever been barred from marching in any St. Patrick’s Day parade, any more than the parade bans pro-life Catholics or vegetarian Catholics; they simply cannot march under their own banner,” said Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League.
“The parade has one cause: honoring St. Patrick. Those who disagree do not have to march — that’s what diversity is all about,” he noted.”

No gays aren’t banned. But they’re not happy with simply marching, they WANT to march under a gay pride banner.
They never promised to be tolerant once they gained power, it was like becoming a dhimmi for Muslims - they don’t practice what they demand of others
I have a psychological theory about that. No matter what the fags project outwardly, inside their conscience is telling them that what they are doing is wrong. It is offensive to God and to righteous men. But they want to pretend that what they are doing is not a sin. And inside, that psychological tension is making them miserable.
So they are compelled to do two things. One is that they must have public affirmation in what they are doing, and to be constantly praised or "celebrated" in their faggotry. And yet even that doesn't work. So they resort to the other, and that is the projection of their misery on everyone around them. If they are going to be miserable, then you too must share in their misery.
And the righteous men, whom the fags fear and loathe for their righteousness, must be shamed, ridiculed and silenced. Because they speak the truth and the truth hurts.
You backed the car into a very good point: The instant they allow the parade to have “Gay Pride” celebrations will be the instant the parade ends. Literally. Most of the current participants will issue statements: “If they’re in, we’re out.” Done. Which is what the liberals really wanted in the first place.

The Daily News has become (or was always) a very lib newspaper. I’m not surprised at their coverage of the sodomites.
Very appropriate for neo pagans like de Blasio and Walsh to exclude themselves from participating in a Catholic celebration. They do not share or respect the values or beliefs of Catholicism. Their presence would have been a hypocritical intrusion. Also the real Sam Adams was a viscious anti Catholic bigot, a failed brewer and made his living as a dishonest tax collector. Its ironic that the beer company is carrying on in the tradition of its namesake.
