Watched an old Johnny Carson interview of Truman Capote the other day on TCM. Capote's strong conclusion -- naming names -- was that intelligence is inversely correlated with acting ability. In his vast experience, the better the actor/actress, the dumber he/she was in real life.
Amanda Seyfried must be a very good actress.
