Full Title: iPhone users are disappointed with the iOS 7.1 software update that's draining their batteries, erasing their contacts, and flipping their keyboards
With every new I-phone software update comes the potential for problems and the iOS 7.1 released on Monday is no exception.
Customer's say it's killing their phone batteries among other pesky glitches.
The iOS7.1 is the first major update to Apple's newest operating systems for iPhones and iPads and the apple community is lamenting poor battery charges, disappearing contacts, bad Bluetooth connections, keyboards oriented the wrong way, and the list goes on, reports the Huffington Post.

I’ve seen no compelling reason to update from iOS 6.1.3

All iOS 7.1 does is add a few "cosmetic" features, very few meaningful functional changes and re-arranges a few options on the settings menu along with a Siri tweak.
NOT worth the trouble of an upgrade or losing the Jailbreak capabilities from the Evasion jailbreak.
I suspect I'm staying at iOS7 for quite some time.

I hear apple is coming out with a hockey puck shaped mouse for use with the iPhone.

Hmmm. I’m not having any problem and neither is my wife.

I had no problems, but a friend of mine posted that he lost all his contacts and he was out of town. He was pissed.

When I first saw this update on my iPad, it seemed as if Jony had a little snit fit and decided to poke us in the eye (with BOLD) for dissing his original spare interface. “Too hard to read and navigate in Safari? Huh? How’s THIS?!?!”

I suspect I'm staying at iOS7 for quite some time. It actually fixes quite a few issues, Uscon. Fonts are better, speed is much better in many ways. Snappier, to coin a much over used word. Appearance of the keyboard is far better, for example. As usual, in an iOS update, there are new features. It's worth doing. . . and it closes some security holes.
