The communications systems of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 were deliberately disabled, Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak has said.
According to satellite and radar evidence, he said, the flight then changed course and could have continued flying for a further seven hours.
He said the "movements are consistent with the deliberate action of someone on the plane."
The plane disappeared a week ago with 239 people on board.
The Kuala Lumpur-Beijing flight last made contact with air traffic control over the South China Sea to the east of Malaysia, about one hour after take off.
Mr. Razak told a news conference that new satellite evidence shows "with a high degree of certainty" that the aircraft's communications systems were disabled and then it changed course, flying back over Malaysia towards India.
Satellite signals continued to be picked up from the plane some seven hours after it lost radar contact.
Mr. Razak said the authorities were now trying to trace the plane across two possible corridors.

The aircraft was probably taken to 45,000 feet and the engines possibly turned off, to deprive the passengers of oxygen.. I believe the cabin pressurization is enabled by the engines, so killing the engines temporarily would depressurize the cabin, killing the passengers. Then the aircraft glides, engines restarted, passengers are now dead then aircraft can be taken to covert location and landed.
And you know all that how?
The two Iranians are suspect, but I would DEFINITELY investigate the 2 Ukrainians + 1 Russian on board (3 is a team).. Possibly pro-Putin with a mission to cause a media diversion from the invasion of Crimea.
I’m guessing, and my guess is the 2 Ukrainians and 1 Russian are involved. They are either pro-Putin to cause a media diversion away from Crimea by order of higher ups, or they are ANTI-PUTIN and stealing an aircraft to use in an attack AGAINST the Russians.

Assuming the passengers are dead and the plane is parked somewhere. Just how do they dispose of over 200 bodies?
Mass grave..look at what the drug cartels do in Mexico, everyday they find mass graves with 30-40 bodies..wouldn’t be difficult to create a mass grave for these people(If they are deceased) I doubt they would dump them in the ocean, they would float, even Laci Peterson after being missing for six months floated to the San Francisco bay along with her unborn child
The plane identifies itself when airborne so if that feature is disabled then the only 777 in the air that does not identify itself is our mystery plan. So I think the plane would have a hard time penetrating a protect airspace.
That seems to be a minor problem. The plane is worth a 1/4 of a BILLION dollars. Piracy seems more likely as the days go on.
What year was the plane? If it was a decade old, probably worth more like forty million.
Both Fox and CNN commentators confirmed the ascent to 45,000ft would have made the air so thin that it would have deprived the passengers of oxygen long enough—even after use of oxygen masks—to first put them to sleep and then kill them. BUT, the captain’s cabin had access to more oxygen, long enough so that they could drop down to a 23,000 cruising altitude—and then fly for another 7 hours!
No one would bother for such a trifling amount.
I agree with you. Nobody would stage a skyjacking to ransom the aircraft—it’s patently ridiculous.
My theory: Those chose this aircraft and flight for a reason. The 777-200ER has very quiet engines and so it could land in the early morning hours and not attract a lot of attention...and the flight time would put it over the middle east in the 3-4 AM timeframe.
My theory, if it was state sponsored (Iran), is that they have thought about your concerns. IF I were planning this op...I would land it where I could hide it...and repaint it...then load whatever I wanted to on it (nuke? Dirty material?). It would be somewhere near a known air route. So for instance...If I knew (not hard to figure out) there were 777-200ER flying from Singapore or Manila to Jerusalem...I would paint it in Singapore Air colors and give it one of their tail numbers. Then at the designated time...I would "switch" the aircraft by shooting the Singapore Airlines 777 down...and let MH370 continue towards the designation.
You have to know that if this is a hijacking and its landed somewhere...they've thought through the end game. And part of that end game planning is how do you sneak it in when people are looking for it. This is how I would do it.
Add to this all the talk in the last week from Iran saying the liberation of Jerusalem is close. Perhaps they DO have a nuke....but its not to the advanced stages that we have where it could fit on top of a missile...but resembles Fat Man or Little Boy...and thus would need to be put on an aircraft with lots of lifting capabilities.
Hijacking a cargo bird would make more sense. No passengers to worry about. Sneaking a 777 back into any airspace now would attract too much attention.
I understand we’re not dealing with fishermen pirates here but the problem I can’t see the hijackers/terrorists getting around is simply that flying computers are getting updates all the time. The engines pinged 4 times in 4 hours for instance. Hit the air after a vacation and the aircraft is flagged as not having been updated in x number of cycles - which cycles have since been changed in frequency or order. Then all kinds of bells and whistles and fighter go-see’s go off. I’d imagine both Rolls and Boeing, for two, have softies working around the clock reprogramming for such an event - at least I hope they do. So the hijackers may find themselves in the same situation as the pirates in the Alabama Merck - in reality, with nothing of value on their hands and a whole lot of headaches about to rock their world.
That was tried in 1994 by some hammer swinging head case aboard a FedEx flight out of Memphis. The hijacker is now in federal prison and the three FedEx pilots no longer fly because of the injuries sustained during the attempted takeover.
