"The company owns seven of its stores and has $400 million in debt?" I suspect they used to own a lot more of them, but sold them off as the stores lost more and more money.
The only Quiznos I know of were open for a few years and then closed their doors.

I ate there once. I eat at Del Taco a couple of times a week. You need a good product at a good price to make it in the fast food business.

There was a Quiznos store one block from where I work. I tried their sandwiches at least 10 or more times before I gave up and returned to Subway (3 blocks further away). They always put too much vinegar in their sauces.

There was a Quiznos that closed 2 miles form my house. The thing that struck me was they had 3 people to make a sandwich. One to assemble the sub, another to toast, add the non toastable ingredients and wrap it, and another as cashier. Seemed pretty inefficient.
