President Obama repeatedly promised Obamacare would reduce insurance premiums by $2,500 per year.
He made this promise at least 22 times.
Today Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted health insurance rates will increase under Obamacare. The Daily Mail reported:
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told House Ways and Means Committee members on Wednesday that she expects health insurance rates to increase as the Affordable Care Act takes full effect.

Flat out unashamed liars.... their word is no good which means so are they too.
The con-artist challenge by Democrats to RINOs to Fix the failed Federal Medical Insurance Law, Obamacare, is now approaching a decision point: April Fools Day, 2014.
Always eager to do nothing unless it is something that might make the Democrats hate them less, the GOP Establishment is actively searching for ways to help their best friends across the aisle on the failed Obamacare Law which is set to fail April Fools Day, 2014.
The GOP-E has recently picked up Romneys Torch of Tyranny (Romneycare), and are happily working on their own version of Federal Medical Inurance called RINOcare.
Will the TEA Party Reps. in the US House rise up and replace Doormat for Obama Boehner, and then ABOLISH the RINOcare replacement of Obamacare, or will everyone just sit on their hands and be happy to be everybodys fool, again?
Romney is hoping that Boehners RINOcare prevails, as it will allow Romney to run again as the GOP-E Nominee in 2016.
BTW, why are so many RINOs so determined to continue the financial destruction of America by advocating Federal RINOcare?
Obamacare has proven to millions of Americans that Federal Medical Insurance will always be doomed to fail, a lesson ignored by our sorry Federal RINOs.
FORWARD !
[BTW, have you ever noticed that the Obamanation command FORWARD ! is ALWAYS towards the Financial Cliff?]
She probably didn't even take realize the irony.
There goes our $2,500
And I predict by September or October, she (and the media) will have found a way to blame Republicans. And Boehner/McConnell will be apologizing.
L I A R S
Liars. Criminals.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that when you add 30-50 million uninsured people to the rolls that someone has to pay for it.
Rip it out by the roots.
Health insurance premiums will necessarily skyrocket under Obamacare/
Deductibles are also significantly more with Obamacare policies.
Obamacare was sold as a way to get insurance to the supposed 30 million who did not have insurance. Still, most of those 30 million do not have Obamacare. So the intent is a bust.
Considering what the government has spent on Obamacare, had that money been applied to existing insurance policies, it could probably have provided insurance to more of those 30 million that Obamacare has.
So, what happened to “affordable”? What a crock of obama.
It’s a bunch of self contradictory impossible promises, like virtually all that comes out of the Democrats and way too much of what comes out of the Republicans.
Sebilus also said in the same interview: “ There’d be no delay of the individual mandate”.
But she’s lying about that.
Just today, the Wall Street Journal reported in the article titled “Obama’s Secret Mandate Exemption”:
“Now all you need to do is fill out a form attesting that your plan was cancelled and that you “believe that the plan options available in [ObamaCare] in your area are more expensive than your cancelled health insurance policy” or “you consider other available policies unaffordable.” This lax standard¿no formula or hard test beyond a person’s belief¿at least ostensibly requires proof such as an insurer termination notice. But people can also qualify for hardships for the unspecified non-reason that “you experienced another hardship in obtaining health insurance,” which only requires “documentation if possible.” And yet another waiver is available to those who say they are merely unable to afford coverage, regardless of their prior insurance. In a word, these shifting legal benchmarks offer an exemption to everyone who conceivably wants one.”
It sure as hell affordable for the legions of new Medicaid enrolees.
What a fiasco.
.
I think the Democrats had that schmoo put into the plans on purpose.
It’s really an exercise in how far will the people let Barack Obama be emperor. And the answer is... almost to the ends of the earth.
