Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D., Texas) declared the U.S. Constitution to be 400 years old Wednesday on the House floor, which would mean it was signed in 1614.
Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not, she said.
That would be seven years after Jamestown, Virginia became Americas first permanent English settlement.
Lee is off by only 173 years. It was adopted on Sep. 17, 1787.

Would it be constitutional to give her an injection and put her down? Probably not but it would certainly be more merciful than letting her make such a sad spectacle of herself.

It has served our 57 states well, especially those who speak Romanian.

SJL took over as the most ignorant female in the House when Johnson beat Cynthia.
Hank’s the most ignorant male now, what a threesome!

Since Democrats seem to think abortion is a constitutional right, I don’t see why not.

Thanks Sheila. No one would have known just how stupid you are if you hand’nt made such an assinine remark. She seems to have gotten worse since removing that dusty old braided helmet.

No, the constipates are possibly dumber than she is, that's how she keeps getting reelected

I'm racking my brain trying to remember if, in the history of the Republic, there has ever existed this depth of undiluted stupidity.
I really can't decide whether to mourn for my generation or just enjoy the show.

If conservatives and conservatism can’t find fool-proof ways of, actually, winning within the majority of U.S. cities, then it won’t be long before the majority of politicians are, just, like Sheila Jackson Lee. The next round of amnesty for illegal immigrants, if it happens, will make such a thing happen, even, quicker.
