A showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines. Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

It’d certainly help cut short any... Unpleasantness...
“My brother is a cop and is all for 2nd Amendment rights so I KNOW there are cops out there who are. I just hope there are some in Connecticut.”
I know lots of cops. good guys all, as is your brother. what this reminds me of is the line by tommy lee jones in “men in black”. he says something like “ a person is smart, people are stupid”, or something to that effect.
the point being, when you get people in a group, whether cops or anybody else, there is a group think that takes over.
thats what could happen in ct.
No need to repeat it to me, Gunner, I’m with you. Peterson isn’t fit to wear a badge or carry a gun and he should be stripped of both. He’s a threat to the citizenry and to himself.
Going along with an illegal, unconstitutional law will paste automatic bull's eyes on the backs and fronts of all CT law enforcement and their families. The same is true for the prosecutors, legal community, and the print and TV media types.
If you come to terrify us into submission, if you violate our homes, if you steal our property, if you imprison us, if you murder us, then WE, your victims, still get a vote and that vote is terminal.
Many innocents will pay at the hands of these petty tyrants — a first. Then, these petty tyrants will start taking the final “fade to black”. This is war and it will not be fought by Marquis of Queensbury Rules. It will be a dirty war and one fought in the shadows.
Again, I ask those who seek this confrontation: once the killing starts, how do you STOP it? Think about that very, very seriously ladies and gentlemen because we are talking life and death here.
Good question. Connecticut State Police has approximately 1,248 troopers, which does not count local law enforcement. I don't have the total number counting local police. Still, this fraction is a significant number (if true).
CT citizens in November, vote freedom. Throw Gov. Mallory out! Throw the Dems out.
This will end in submission, not revolution.
Your pessimism has me somewhat crestfallen.
Second one being:
The manor and text of this post spells that the author might be a very egotistical, young, aggressive, "gung ho" cop that is drooling at the thought of bloodshed.
Your post has done NIL to support your CT neighbors. I'll conclude by saying this:
May you not have to go thtough what our fellow Americans in CT are going through now. God Bless you....
Not all of em. One says he can't wait.
I wonder now if he was being sarcastic.
One nut gets loose in CT and murders some schoolchildren. So what do they do, try to make CT into one big rubber room.
The guy he was talking to (Cinque) didn’t seem to think so.
I hope I don’t. I have no faith in the police. They are trained to believe they are “better” than us.
I think there are plenty of jackbooted thugs in CT. I think there are plenty of scared mice in CT who think confiscation is good.
I think there are a lot of people who think they will resist. Until you have them knocking at your door, that is a good plan. But are you willing to die for it?
I understand what it feels like to have a gun pointed at me. It’s not as much fun as some knuckleheads will have you believe. We are not armored up, we don’t have automatic weapons, and we do not have concentrated forces.
We are the prey this time. Being prey is not fun.
You mean except for the ones that want to give up their left nut to enforce it?
CONNECTICUT POLICE REFUSE TO ENFORCE NEW GUN CONTROL LAWS!
Not all of em. One says he can’t wait.

“I give my left nut to bang down your door and come for your gun.”
Those police officers, I think, were Boston Police, not State Police? And they were searching homes and shooting boats two towns away. How did they get the authority to do that? Can one city police department give up their power to another one?
There will be LEO’s with an eye on advancement that will lead others to the homes of those unwilling to carry out the tyrant’s policies.
The ladder of success will be the bodies of the good guys
But are you willing to die for it?
Well let me ask you this my friend,,,, are you willing to live under a tyrannical dictator? Krystalnacht should have taught the world a valuable lesson.
It is too bad, I agree. Problem with the whole story is there is no such thing as the Connecticut Peace Officers Association.
Someone scrambled to create a wiki entry. AFTER the existance of the organization was questioned. *snort*
