A showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines. Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

I am glad that others have taken up Obama’s selective enforcement of law to bring out this whole rotten mess.

This might get good...

Havent there been a couple of false reports of this already?I did wonder about that before I posted, sounds too good to be true and okay, I admit, I got the link off what a friend posted on facebook however, it did link to American Freedom Fighters which sounded legit and had lots of comments at the end of the article.

Very wisely. I predict that many officers trying to enforce this law will wind up dead.

They REALLY don't want to start kicking in the doors of their neighbors to confiscate guns.
A lot of them may be control-freaks, but their job is dangerous enough without initiating armed conflicts with thousands of hot gun-owners - many ex-military, many fellow cops, too.....

The Blaze says they believe this is a hoax... they could not find a “peace officers association” in Connecticut.

Got my doubts on this one. I watched the Boston Police force people from their homes at gunpoint and then search them for the bomber. There may be a difference but it isn’t a huge one. They just claim they are looking for felons.

The Blaze says they believe this is a hoax... they could not find a peace officers association in Connecticut.Do you have a link for that? I tried to google "blaze connecticut police refuse" but all I got was an article "http://www.examiner.com/article/civil-disobedience-thousands-refuse-to-register-assault-weapons-conn" which didn't mention that.
Would be interested in seeing what they had to say.
