Didn’t Mark Pryor get the job through a smear campaign in the 1st place?

He’s done. We need to see polling like this in Alaska and Colorado.

Good. Better if Cotton was a Tea Party type.

AR, MI, CO, NC, WV, LA, MT, SD, IA, perhaps NH and maybe a few surprises! Throw in conservative replacements in NE, KY, SC, GA, TN and the US Senate could be a very different place come next January!

The last time Pryor ran for reelection, Arkansas had only 1 Republican in the Congressional delegation.

Since then, the other Senate seat changed with Boozman defeating Lincoln (D).

Boozman held the only Republican House seat at that time. Now, the other 3 House seats have shifted to the Republicans.

Pryor now is the only Democrat in the Congressional delegation.

If Pryor loses, and the House seats remain the same, the Congressional degelation will have done a complete shift from Democrat to Republican, except for District #3, which was already Republican.

I thought Begich was relatively safe compared to others. They like the big spenders like Murkowski and Don Young.

He is on immigration and domestic spending.

He will be the only likeable Neocon amongst the losers in the Senate like Mccain, Ayotte and Graham.

Pryor is going down. He is in the wrong party for Arkansas at this time. Clinton could not win here now.

Was this poll taken after Mark Pryor’s “military service gives Tom Cotton a sense of entitlement” remark? If other polls produce similar results to this one, we can count it as “Leaning Republican.” Pryor does not act like he’s confident of reelection.

Voting for ObamaCare cooked his goose. He knew the writing was on the wall when Blanche Lincoln got showed the door but I’ll bet some promises were made to pacify him. We’ll see if Obama nominates him to some hokey gubmint job or leaves him stranded.

Pryor sounds desperate.

Hojczyk, if you’re from Arkansas, you could start a regular thread on your home state politics. There’s a lot going on there this year and Freepers would appreciate your input and knowledge.

Fortunately, the people in Arkansas can see through the “war on woman” BS

This is great. The only thing that scares me is the Election is still 8 months away and anything can happen.

That’s because they know the Big Daddy of the Democratic Party, Bill Clinton, very well. They know it’s not the Republicans bedding everything with a skirt, raping staffers and getting oral sex from a little girl in the Oval Office.

Cotton would have to screw up royally to lose this. The question now is by how wide a margin will Pryor lose by. Blanche lost by 21% in 2010 to Boozman. I’m figuring Pryor will lose by around 10%.

Incumbents, like Pryor and Udall (D-CO) who are only polling at 42% are in very deep trouble. Especially these two guys who have very well known names and deep political roots. The political wonks will probably rate these races as “toss ups”, but I think that in reality these two races are headed into the R column.

Cotton is a Reagan Republican. He’s also graduated from the Army Airborne and Ranger schools and has led men in combat. I’d rather the Reagan Republican label than the Tea Party label any day.
