Have you seen Obama’s poll numbers? They are among the lowest in history. As of today, Obama’s approval rating is at 38%. That’s just barely above Richard Nixon.
That means that among the rest of America, outside of loyal, lifelong, Kool-Aid drinking Democrats, Obama's ratings are nil.
Remember that about 47% of Americans get entitlement checks from government. Obama is PAYING for their support and he still only has 38% approval. You know you're unpopular when even bribes don't work anymore!
He has virtually zero support among the 53% who aren't getting a check from government. You can't find another instance of that in the history of American politics.

I don’t know, they still seem high. And I don’t know about Nixon, but I heard that Bush, fils, was in the 20s at the end of his term.
I think it’s amazing that he still polls this well.

And yet, he won re-election. The media carried him through to last year. That was the goal. Keep a liberal Dem in office so a Republican president could not undermine Obamacare and all the other Socialist programs he put in place. It doesn’t matter if his popularity is low now. They will try to push it up so the elections aren’t a disaster for the Dems but even if they are, Obama is still in office and can veto anything a Republican Congress does.
Obama is so 2012.

They might complain. They might even say conservatives were, in this one instance, right. But they can not and will not generalize this situation to the left being essentially wrong. So, they’ll all vote for Hillary, or even Satan. They vote on color, “sexiness”, good hair, teeth and a winning smile. Most of all, they vote on liberalism. But, they do not judge content of character, or know enough about economics to understand redistribution is theft.

For Democrats, "content of character" means the liberal way or the highway. A HAND-OUT, not a HAND UP.
They DO know that retribution is theft but those wild-eyed fanatics feel that right is on their side, even if it means dealing with Satan himself.
Lower than George W. Bush.
Lower than Lyndon Johnson at the height of the Vietnam war.
Lower than Jimmy Carter at the height of the Iranian hostage crisis, with the added burden of an economy in misery and malaise.

As long as Eric Holder has his back and Congress sits back and does nothing these poll numbers mean diddly squat. If a man has a gun to your head, whether or not you approve, you will still do as he says.
The only support he needs is the media.
You mean maybe like something that might be precipitated by someone blowing up an airliner or maybe something like that?
He’s got the race card. He doesn’t need approval.
