YOU WILL NEVER BE SORRY FOR:
...thinking before speaking,
...hearing before judging,
...forgiving your enemies,
...being candid and frank,
...helping a fallen friend,
...being honest in your work,
...standing by your principles,
...blocking your ears to gossip,
...being courteous and kind.

My husband’s favorite poem that was read at his military service two years ago:
High Flight by John Magee
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunwards Ive climbed and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds and done a thousand things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hovering there,
Ive chased the shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air,
Up, up the long delirious burning blue
Ive topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,
Where never lark, or even eagle, flew;
And, while with silent, lifting mind Ive trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of god.

Thanks....we are preparing for my sister coming up. She just up and announced she was arriving on the 18th, the day one year ago that my Dad passed.
My fingers are nubs from all the texting and emailing. I’ll take a few days off and I’ve already lined up dental and eye appointments for my Mom...one in the morning, one in the afternoon. And new will signing has an appointment made. And all will be better with my sister here. I’m pretty excited.
Sticky pads are everywhere for when I think of something else to put on “The List”. And while I’m working, they will have together time to do other stuff on their lists.

I love that poem. My hubby was and my son is AF, and was a
pilot for a short time and it just speaks to me, too.
A good one for his service...God rest his soul!

My husband flew the F100 Super Sabre in Vietnam out of Phan Rang. I would like to share this awesome video with everyone. Captain Bob Ward did an incredible job producing this video that honors all the pilots who served in Vietnam. I know my husband, my hero, would have been proud watching it. Rich now flies with the Eagles! Sound up and enjoy.

Thank you. It is surprising that they would usually put one of those bridges across in a day.
