Always lots of Libertarians at CPAC. So not surprised.
The war on drugs has had millions of casualties, and ruined the lives of so many. It has also made the cartels super rich and kept our southern neighbor unstable.
So add it up: Law enforcement gets to run amok and justify their militarization, the prison industrial complex grows, the government further justifies domestic surveillance, and the Mexican cartels get rich while using government supplied weapons and also receive assistance from certain fed agencies.
Does that sound like anything we can change? Consider the lawlessness of the real puppetmasters..... The real powers that be have no interest in stopping the war on drugs. THEY MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY FROM IT.
Obama is just their current straw man for us to complain about while they keep us distracted. (Just like we say Obama is doing, it goes a level higher.)

No doubt, the Libertarian accolytes flooded the CPAC convention in substantial numbers this year...undoubtedly this is why Rand Paul won the presidential straw poll, along with the votes of unwitting conservatives.
Unidentified, Libertarians leech and propagandize on web sites like FR, and they do this across the internet conservative spectrum. Conservatives are generally always very accomodating to them, some even secretly love them.....even though so many Libertine-arian "planks" are antithetical to conservative principles and values. Go figure.
Seems like CPAC was finally infiltrated to the max this year....this didn't surprise me in the least. With boyishly-charming, smooth-talking, persuasive front-men and spokesmen like Rand Paul and John Stossel as Trojan horses worming into the psyches of both GOP and conservative circles day and night, both of these political entities will become further divided and incapable of success in defeating the Left.
The Libertarians are the best agents on the side of the Democrat party and liberals in general.
I'm sure the Left is rubbing its collective hands together as they watch what's happening at CPAC, i.e., the Libertarians trumping the conservatives in key moves. The Democrat Party would NEVER, NOT FOR A MINUTE tolerate the Libertarians to leech onto their party even though many of the Libertarian "planks" mesh with those of the Dems.
The Libertarians increasingly finding a comfy home in the GOP and/or the conservative movement is NOT a good omen for our side, folks. Be alert....please. Fortunately, things are being revealed in the CPAC event that we can learn from.

Talking to an audience cheering and applauding arguments for legalizing pot is like talking to a brain dead person their are alive but can’t think.

The obvious problem across the U.S.A. is exhibited in this thread. You see it in locally high places in local levels of bipartisan government, business and academia—all socialist now and involved in a feeding frenzy of unexpected hosilities and robberies.
The increase in criminal/anti-social behaviors exhibited by many in public service and business positions is caused by the continuing increase in immorality including “recreational” drug abuse and associated behaviors.
