So, Lois Lerner still won't talk about her role in the illegal targeting and harassment by the IRS of conservative and Tea Party groups seeking 501(c)(4) tax exemptions. Lerner appeared for a second time Wednesday before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and claimed her Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate herself. It isn't hard to figure out why Lerner's lips are sealed.
First, she knows the House of Representatives can cite her for contempt of Congress, but Attorney General Eric Holder would decide whether she is prosecuted on that charge. Lerner need not worry since President Obama has already told the world there wasn't “a smidgen of corruption” in the IRS actions, and Holder allowed a major Obama campaign contributor to have a role in Department of Justice's faux investigation of the scandal.
The second and far more revealing reason Lerner is being what the Mafia calls “a good soldier” is seen in the questions posed to her by Rep. Darrell Issa, the California Republican who chairs the oversight panel. For example, Issa noted that Lerner told a Duke University group in October 2010 that “everyone is up in arms” over the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision and that “the Federal Election Commission can't do anything about it. They want the IRS to fix the problem.” Lerner refused to answer Issa's request that she explain who was the “they” to which she referred or how they made clear their desire that the IRS “fix the problem.”
Similarly, Issa asked about her statement in a September 2010 email to subordinates in which she directed them to begin “a c4 project” and warned them that “we need to be cautious so it isn’t a per se political project.” Lerner refused to explain why she was worried that the project could be viewed as political. Then Issa asked her about a February 2011 email in which she said “Tea Party Matter very dangerous.” Lerner refused to say either what the Tea Party “matter” was or why she viewed it as “dangerous.”
Finally, Issa told Lerner that another IRS executive had told the oversight panel that she had ordered that Tea Party applications be subjected to a “multi-level review.” She refused to explain why she singled out Tea Party applications for such reviews.
These simple questions – each based on indisputable facts – establish that somebody outside of the IRS told her they wanted the tax agency to “fix” something involving groups seeking 501(c)(4) tax status, that she directed subordinates to begin a (c)(4) project she feared could be seen as “political,” that she viewed Tea Party groups as “dangerous,” and that she ordered that such groups be subjected to “multi-level review.” Those are the four essential points of the IRS scandal: Who ordered the tax agency to get involved, who in the tax agency responded, who they targeted and what actions they took. She cannot answer these questions because, as she herself has claimed, that would be incriminating. Lerner and others must hope Issa doesn’t already have the answers.
What if Issa knew the answers? Lerner "took the 5th", so what are her consequences? None.....right?
We’ll see about her status after November, 2016.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings of the Treasury that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. BTW, Mayor Daley's former chief of staff, Valerie Jarrett, hired Obama's wife, Michelle, to work in Chicago City Hall. Jarret is now ensconced in Washington, as Obama's chief policy advisor.
In Chicago gangland vernacular, "chief policy advisor" means "wire-transfer artist".

What is she hiding?
Several things.
For one, the IRS didn’t target the TEA Party to get Obama reelected.
The IRS targeted the TEA Party to get Hillary into the WH.
Another, the IRS began targeting the TEA Party in early 2010, the same time the dems and their allies in the MSM went into full blown attack mode against the TP.
As is typical with the MSM when they go into attack mode, they began claiming the TP were a bunch of right wing extremist, then they began building on the claims daily.
Soon the MSM was claiming the TP were right wing extremist, white separatist, racist, ultra violent, KKK, Nazis, Tim McVeigh wannabes out to overthrow the govt.
Then there was an attempted car bombing in NYC, and since it was a fertilizer bomb like Tim McVeigh used the left jumped with joy that their talking points about the TP were correct.
There are 4 possibilities with that attack.
1. The dems orchestrated the talking points about the TP
in order to blame the attack on the TP.
2. The terrorist picked up on the dems talking points and “spontaneously” planned the attack around the dems talking points.
3. The TP actually did it.
4. It’s all just a big coincidence.
With the “spontaneous” lie with Benghazi it’s easy to see the dems want you to believe #2 or better yet #3.
The IRS targeted the TP to get the NAMES of “dissidents” they would claim were out to over throw the govt.
Just like the Clintons did with the OKC bombing, anyone that would dare speak out against what the govt was doing would be declared a supporter of terrorism.
Bill Ayers and company said when the left took control they would have to “exterminate” 25 million Americans that couldn’t be reeducated, they have to get the names from somewhere.
This is where they were getting the names.
Every time Issa addresses her in the future, he should use her name, followed by an incrementing number, like “Lois Lerner 23”, one time, and “Lois Lerner 24” the next.
Without saying so, to let her know that when she is taken to trial, the last number he has given her is going to be the number suggested to the federal prosecutor for how many years she is going to have to spend behind bars.
I've met with my state rep and written extensively to my rat state senator to encourage them to vote for FL participation in an Article V state amendment convention.
I've written letters to the editor on the same subject in general, and repeal of the 17th amendment in particular.
Voting in national elections cannot reverse our trajectory into tyranny.

Democrats don’t go into office to serve their country. Democrats go into office to serve themselves and the Democrat party some big pieces of pie from the public treasuries.
This is a deadly serious game for the Democrats. They justify their actions by telling themselves they are doing it for their family. In their mind, when you oppose them, you are trying to hurt their family. The Republicans need to remember that and prepare accordingly.
Several people went to jail during the Clinton administration in similar circumstances. Is seems that their fear of what would happen to them if they talked was greater than their fear of spending months in jail. Many others left the country.

In the Watergate investigation, it was hard to trace responsibility back to Nixon because his loyalists were doing their best to protect him--it was just the discovery of the tapes that led to his downfall...combined with a hostile press. Nothing like that will obtain in the Obama White House.
