What other language should a BBC report use, latin?
I took it that the release was from the Ukranian Navy and was in english. As much as obama wishes that America was not a Super Power - it is. That is why the protestors had hand made signs in english, the navy puts out releases in english, and Russia will put out its reply in english as well. Some are prompts of “Hey - a little help?”. Putin’s will be a “So what are ya’ going to do about it”.
And what WILL we do about it?
The way obama does things it is all very scattered and to fix the latest emergency. That is very intentional I believe (see the link in my tagline - FDR did the same thing).
And while that may work to get his crisis-of-the-day into the news so he can “fix” it, it does not lend itself to good foreign policy.
