one man's opinion...

I was hoping one of the Texas FReepers would start a thread, but didn't see one. The Texas primary is today..several interesting races, but the BIG ONE involves Cornyn. When you vote...let us know what you heard/saw? What's the weather like down there?

Cornyn is starting to trend down, now that most of the early voting is reported. And lots of precincts, conservative precincts, haven't reported.

Cornhole is at 57% of today’s vote based on SOS page with 14% in. Hopefully that will continue to drop. That’s compared to his getting 62% of early vote.

Cornhole down to 56% of today’s vote...

57? I’m reading 61, but your 4pt loss is great and shows the floor potentially dropping out under him.

Should Cornyn win the primary, I won't vote for him in the general. He can pound sand. I'll vote for a non-liberal 3rd party candidate.

That’s both early and today’s vote. I’m just calculating today’s vote.

Stovall now breaks the 10% barrier.

Are you talking about today's votes without the early voting?

Good news is that Cornhole is going to drop below 60% overall with early + today’s vote.

Si.
To: jimbo123
Gotcha. I noticed that todays votes were tending to pull his numbers down.
He's within 9 points of a run-off.
