I was hoping one of the Texas FReepers would start a thread, but didn't see one. The Texas primary is today..several interesting races, but the BIG ONE involves Cornyn. When you vote...let us know what you heard/saw? What's the weather like down there?

Only idiots would call it this early. Oh... you said KLBJ. That explains it.

You must not understand: Liberty Co. would be one of Cornball’s weakest counties, and he still led there.

Sec State says it's 50% to 49% favoring Katrina.

You must not understand math or numbers. Cornyn 40%, ABC 46%.

Dewhurst led in the primary, he lost in the general.
Cornyn is within 12% of a run-off.

Just a few precincts tho’, but SoS is the official count of course, either way, it’s early yet.

He understands. He's a GOP-E troll. Always has been. His posting history shows it.

KLBJ-AM runs conservatives almost exclusively. I enjoy listening to Rush on there if for no other reason, to add a few RPM to LBJ as he spins in his fiery grave.

I don’t do KLBJ anymore after 10 years of listening. Pit bulls, high-school throwdowns, bike lanes, local crazy drug/police stories instead of national TEA analysis. Then Rush who veers into NFL and books and gibberish. My ears on only when Mark Steyn subs. And Jeff Ward can * my *.
101X only on the truck radio anymore.

aP called it for Sessions.
They’ve also called it for Cornyn.
In this case though “close” does count (at least to us non-Texan conservatives) so the actual numbers matter a lot.

Yep. And it will be over without me. I'll see who did what in the morning.
At this point the voters have spoken. All that is left is to find out what the silly barstids said. ;)

Yep. Looks like we at least gave Dewhinkle the boot.
Like Marcella said...at least we can be thankful we don’t have Al Franken for a Senator. We just have Harry Reid Jr Cornball :(

TEXAS DEMS DESPERATE TO THWART DEMOCRATIC BLACK FEMALE SENATE CANDIDATE
The Texas Democratic Party is overtly expressing a collective anxiety over the candidacy of LaRouche PAC figurehead Kesha Rogers one day before voters hit the polls. U.S. Senate Democratic Primary Candidate Rogers is currently poised to claim her third consecutive party nomination for federal office according to recent polling.
....Pundits may also look to Rogers willingness to promote herself to grassroots camps largely interested in conservative politics. In 2012, she participated in a Houston-based King Street Patriots forumtaking breaks for applause at a number of points in her presentation. Rogers continued her tea party outreach before the NE Tarrant Tea Party group in 2014.
Infiltration, anyone?
