Blockbuster in the making. Son of God blasts off to major viewer numbers, Thursday night and Friday!!! Could be #1 movie this week. Terrific movie across the board. All Americans should see this wonderful, motivating, religious film!!! Son of God will do terrific across the entire world!!!
They do miss out. I thought that Saving Mr. Banks was an incredible movie and ALMOST did not go because of the negativity on here about it. What a dang shame it would have been if I had listened to the naysayers here. I also saw 12 Years a Slave and thought it was a great movie…..after I saw it (thankfully) the bashing of the movie started showing up and I just shake me head. I really love Free Republic except for the movie threads….I don’t mind people not liking a movie or even think that it stinks but it is the arrogance that only they are right that gets to me.
It was disturbing to learn the “Touched By an Angel” producer coauthored a New Age Book and channeled her mother on a psychic TV show.

Have you seen Son of God? I personally did not write my posts out of arrogance after seeing the movie but rather my impression and how it did not bode well with my spirit.

Oh hollyweird didn’t wake up after the “Passion of the Christ” they are never going to. BTW I enjoyed the Obama-Devil(redundant ?) character. Too bad they dropped him.
It is interesting how people look at movies differently. Actually the loser this weekend is poor Liam Neeson whose “Non Stop” is going to be trounced by Son of God which will probably make around 50 million this weekend.

My discernment kicks in when I see her wearing “bling” and cleavage down to her ribcage dresses. I don’t know many real Christian women who dress like that. I remember how The Bible miniseries also omitted any reference to homosexuality as being one of the reasons Sodom and Gomorrah fell and a black bodybuilder with dreadlocks that play Samson for starters.
I can see the movie suggesting that Jesus set up elaborate magic tricks to get the attention of people to make them listen to him or rewriting things out of context to create doubt. I don’t trust Hollywood with something as important as the Bible under the current regime in the WH who are masters at deception and do use te media to change people’s opinions and manipulate them.
