Blockbuster in the making. Son of God blasts off to major viewer numbers, Thursday night and Friday!!! Could be #1 movie this week. Terrific movie across the board. All Americans should see this wonderful, motivating, religious film!!! Son of God will do terrific across the entire world!!!
Oh noooos. FREEPERS heads are going to explode. They were saying the other day on another thread that they are going to boycott this film because they didn’t have enough hours to keep the Obama Devil in the movie……Most on here will be wearing black clothes today upon hearing this news.
I saw ‘the Bible’ on tv. Is there enough difference in the New Testament part of the miniseries from the movie to warrant the trip?

I thought it was unfair to associate the Devil with Obama. The Devil doesn’t play golf every weekend and take vacations every other month.
And people are buying it. Literally.
I don't go to movies to be told or do I trust anything they say. I go for the entertainment. I went to see Gravity and don't believe I will ever get up into space. I went to see 2 Guns and most likely won't be out in the middle of the desert shooting Denzel Washington or Mark Walburg. Tomorrow when I am at Mass, I will learn all about God…..the movie I will not. Thanks for the concern though.
Do you know how many people will believe it? Lots. They bought her tripe last time. Had her speak at churches. It should concern us that she’s a false witness.
I know 100 percent that she will not be speaking at the Catholic Churches. The born again Evangelical churches are the ones that go gaga over this type of tripe.
Saw the movie yesterday and here’s what I posted.
I just saw it. Drove 60 miles to have dinner and watch the show with a dear friend. I did not see the Bible Series so can’t compare but this falls short especially if you are not knowledgeable about the Bible. I knew when they had the wisemen at the manger scene we were in for some inerrancy issues. The BIGGEST TRAVESTY OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS HAVING TO SIT THROUGH TRASHY PREVIEWS OF COMING ATTRACTIONS. DEFINITELY NOT FOR FAMILY VIEWING OR FOR THAT MATTER ANYONE’S VIEWING . . THIS WENT ON FOR A GOOD HALF HOUR! Except for my friend, I knew no one in the theatre and the response to the show was tepid at best and there was concern about the lack of opportunities for the non-saved viewers to get a Salvation message out of it. I found myself coming home to do a fact check in my Bible and suggest if you go, you do the same. Maybe it was the blatant omission of key scriptures or the inclusion of half scriptures such as Jesus saying “I am the Way the Truth and the Life . . . . the ending of that scripture never was given “no man comes to the Father but by Me” John 14:6
More time should have been spent sharing the Gospel on the Christian networks rather than devoting whole shows that spent time rehashing the making of the movie and “fawning” over the producers.

Actually it was the omissions throughout the movie that really caught my attention. I just thought to myself. . .”this movie is a major lost opportunity to minister to the lost” and it also didn’t do anything to enhance a church goer’s Bible knowledge other than perhaps provide the impetus to go home and review the events portrayed in the movie “in toto”.
A thought just occurred to me . .why didn’t they entitle the movie THE SON OF GOD. By their not quoting the entire Lord’s prayer and the entire verse John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the Life “no man comes to the Father but my me”, it leaves the movie really implying there are more than one sons of God and other ways to get to heaven.

I agree, but I think there is a difference in showing a dismembered likeness of a President as opposed to showing an Obama-lookalike as the Devil.

Exactly and same here. I never, ever mix the entertainment with the political and find it pretty easy. I go to be entertained. I feel for those that just can’t separate the two. They really miss out.
It warrants a vote to show Hollywood.

You have a point, but even if they had Obama dismember on a spike would bring joy to some on here. I don’t mind so much but I just wish they would stop being so hypocritical that is all. Actually, I wish they would just look at a movie being a movie and maybe have some reality….10 hours of movie has to be cut down to 2 hours….something has to be deleted. So what if they got rid of the devil.

Why don’t you please focus on what we have in common, which is much, instead of pridefully spouting off on things of which you know little about?
Focus on the log that is in your own eye, and in your own church’s eye, instead of the speck in someone else’s.
