OLYMPIA -- The Oregonian caught up with Washington state lawmakers Tuesday for the 2014 Legislative Shootout at Little Rock.
Legislators from both sides of the aisle competed in pistol, rifle and shotgun competitions at the event, which was hosted by the Evergreen Sportsmen's Club.
Freep that poll!
It’s Washington, so I wonder if they got baked first.
as targets?
What a stupid poll!
Bravo to Washington State Senator Pam Roach!
We have the same thing in ALaska. No big deal here.
Pull!
Oh wait, you mean not as targets?
Actually, my answer depends on what end of the range they visit.
That depends, on which side of the firing line will they be?
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
As long as they don’t try to infringe on mine.
Great to see them exercising their Second Amendment rights 55.26% (247 votes)
As long as it is done safely and responsibly there’s no issue 25.28% (113 votes)
Sets a bad example and is inconsiderate towards families hurt by gun violence 3.36% (15 votes)
Could care less about their shooting ability just wondering why they aren’t working 13.87% (62 votes)
Other: 2% (10 votes)
Total Votes: 447
damn
Or possibly the writer is simply reflecting the assumed dialect of the person that would answer the poll with this answer.

There was a time, and maybe even now, when the house of representatives had a pistol range somewhere in the capitol complex. Many members of both house and senate are hunters. The Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, which includes both house and senate, is the largest caucus in congress.
I think ALL legislators should go to the shooting range. Some on the firing line and others in front of it...
Between “exercising their 2nd Amendment rights” and “doing it safely”, the number is nearly 82%!
