The far left flies into a rage and a mob of them enter your neighborhood and start burning down homes.
In fear for you life you call the police.
The police show up and are immediately attacked by the mob who start throwing fire bombs at them.
Police are being burnt alive... the mob is now approaching your home with your family in it.
What do you want to happen at this point?
Because at that point I am no longer even waiting for the police to start shooting, I would be taking out the mob myself.
You I guess would help light the fire and storm the police I guess while your family burns alive.

What you conveniently leave out is that the “mob” in Ukraine didn’t throw any fire bombs until the police on Nov 30 at 4am attacked and brutally beat the seven hundred protesters.

The complete sequence would be as follows: Bush restricted federal funding >> ridiculously peaceful by later standards protests follow >> Bush sends the SWAT team not only to disperse but to beat the living s**t out of people (Nov 30) >> protesters respond by throwing rocks and hit police with sticks >> protesters start getting arrested, kidnapped and tortured >> Bush outlaws free speech and right to assembly >> protesters respond by throwing Molotovs (Jan 20) >> SWAT opens fire with lethal ammo
The story you tell has beginning and the end, omitting everything in the middle
Nobody's going to be openly burning down homes in my neighborhood. There would be a need for dozens of ambulances long before the Sheriff arrived.
If the police wish to take sides during a civil war they must be ready to accept the consequences.
