Yet another boondoggle of a government program, duplicating whats already happening in the private sector, and has for years in the Big Brothers / Big Sisters organization.

Mrs USC and I are involved in them, they're a wonderful organization! We've sponsored kids, mentored others and have seen first hand the impact of BBBS on the lives of inner city kids. We've seen so many graduate high school, often with honors, and head off to college.

BBBS is PRIVATELY funded through individuals and business organizations. They're incredibly efficient with the money they get (I KNOW the Chicago area BBBS is) and they make a real difference in these kids lives.
