Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE)--which received more than $2.75 million in government funding in 2012--has produced and posted online a video specifically aimed at teenagers that promotes bondage and sadomasochism (BDSM) and proposes "rules" to follow when engaging in these activities. People sometimes think that those who practice BDSM are emotionally scarred or were once abusednot true, its a total myth," the host of the video, Laci Green, informs its intended audience of teens. "BDSM relies upon and creates trust," she says. In a message published at the beginning of PPNNE´s 2012 annual report, PPNNE President Meagan Gallagher

Through which bill were these funds allocated?
Corrupting children gives these people thrills.

The Colonies had a greater than normal quotient of serious Christians due to the exodus of many persecuted variants of Christianity from the Old World to the New.
It got arrogant when it assumed it was something that only the church was, the “Shining City On A Hill.” In truth, to call it that at ANY time was to whitewash a sepulcher.
Don’t lament the loss of historical happenstance. Lament what individual Christians are failing to do with God right at this moment.
(”It” meaning the nascent USA)
Life on earth is just temporary and short anyhow, and America was not perfect....although, it was a great place compared to most other places because of its devout beginnings.
It is true-—Pride cometh before the Fall. We seem to be going down pretty hard.
Yes... meaning of course the kind of pride that boasts on self.
I’m not saying that America had NO distinct, gospel-borne features. It certainly did. Where it went with that, was up to it. And it staggered around and eventually came to the current flop.
Anyhow, the root promises and commands of the gospel never changed for individuals. Now that “pride in America” has gone pretty much into a nostalgic rear view mirror, I am actually hoping that “glory in God” will make a resurgence among its people, under a pure(r) New Testament model, rather than one that tries to pattern America after a hybridized Old Testament model. Love hopes all things and so that is what I hope. That could actually blow the socks off of the old America because it wouldn’t be trying to turn it into a province of the Old Testament any more, which is a shadow and a distraction.
Interesting. But I don’t think that perfection is possible with human nature. America was about as perfect as you can get, when dealing with people and that is turning to failure now for our children.
I do wish for a Great Awakening but in talking to people-—they are so locked into the TV/news/sports/Junk, they don’t have time to “think” and read and contemplate and unless people find time to reflect, nothing new or Great will happen. There is so much distraction and White Noise out there and people are addicted to it.
But, but, but. God gets tired of hearing all the buts.
Look at what it takes to totally captivate kids... it is not rocket science. Get a production out there like Disney’s “Frozen” (not all that bad a story, a loose paraphrase of Hans Christian Andersen’s morality tale The Snow Queen) and the kids are glued on You Tube.
Can somebody PLEASE show that heaven can do everything that world can, and more. I’ve seen what contemporary Christendom puts out in the Christian book stores and it is lame, lame, lame! And that is not because of subject matter — that’s because all manner of delicacy is conflated with godliness. Do we dare dance for God so vigorously that, like David, our underpants can be seen?
Do that, and you won’t be able to stop kids from carrying the gospel around. And a new generation will be founded.
[Can somebody PLEASE show that heaven can do everything that world can, and more.]
Except one thing of course, it can’t sin. But sin is falling short of the glory of God. It isn’t “falling long” of it or “exceeding” it. This is impossible by definition, and it’s why the devil is always weaker than God is. To be sinless is to be like a sharpshooter who hits his target on the bulls eye, every single solitary time.
Let’s get some guts into the gospel. Godly guts. Dare to “pollute the world” with it. Then it will be respected as realistic.
That is true-—gain the minds of the children and you own the future. Lenin knew that well, as did all the Wundtians, like John Dewey.
We can’t “trust” government ever to raise and “own” our children. That was the beginning of our destruction was the “public” schools and parents not understanding that they are the First Teachers.
There is always hope with God. But-—yes, it requires the Sword of Truth and a true Love of that Truth. Then, the children will learn to love it just by existing around it....if that is what they are exposed to.
It’s nice sounding to give it the majestic yawn that if all else is well it will be contagious to the children, yet the spark of new evangelization needs to start somewhere.
We can NOT afford to sit around lamenting that all else is not well. If we do, all else never WILL be well. The Lord who burned the waterlogged sacrifices that Baal was unable to accept while dry, certainly proved that. One mighty praise by the prophet, and zap!
I agree-—but it has to start with ourselves and our own families and the embedded ideas of children in the formative years, which is essential for that emotional strength and Virtue, which is required for mature, masculine strength to fight evil. Education and experience is essential and takes time.
Thanks Nachum. Libertarians ping.
