The conservative Club For Growth released its annual scorecard for 2013 on Monday, bestowing two Republican U.S. senators — Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah — and four GOP congressmen with 100 percent ratings for their voting records “based on issues relating to limited government and economic growth.”
The four congressmen with perfect ratings for 2013 are Republican Reps. Matt Salmon, Trent Franks and David Schweikert of Arizona and Tom McClintock of California. Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan got a 99 percent rating in 2013 “but because of rounding has a 100 percent LifeScore,” the group said.
“2013 saw the emergence of several new defenders of economic freedom as well as continued excellence among old allies,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “While there are more champions of pro-economic growth policy serving in Congress than at any time before, it’s clear that our fight against the big spenders in both parties has a long way to go.”
The 2013 and lifetime scores of GOP Sens. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Marco Rubio of Florida, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Tom Coburn and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, Tim Scott of South Carolina and Jim Risch of Idaho were good enough to qualify all seven, along with Mr. Cruz and Mr. Lee, for the “Defender of Economic Freedom” Award.
In all, 31 members of Congress will receive the award, which requires a 2013 and lifetime score from the group of at least 90.

Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
How about John Mccain?
Cruz and Lee make a great team and the contrast in styles is mutually beneficial the way they can alternate between the good cop/bad cop routine. These guys are going to be giving Libtards hissy fits for a long, long time and inspiring a new generation.
Someone gets it!
I like Ted a lot. I heard some yakked the other night on a talk show claim that Ted is a set up .... doing all the right things and saying all the right things just waiting to betray us.
And how did this mental giant come to this conclusion??? Well don’t you know Ted’s wife used to work at Goldman Sachs.
As a country, we are in deep trouble
Amash should not be included because of rounding. Anything less than 100 percent is less than 100 percent.
The whole list:

Those people are CRAZY.

Yes...and we need to get used to this type of crap. The GOPe and the Democrats are VERY fearful of Ted Cruz because they know he resonates with the bulk of the American people.
The GOPe (and mainstream media/DemocRATs also) have nothing on Ted Cruz so they have, and will continue to, spread ‘FUD’ about him. Get used to the marketing term FUD (which stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt)—you are going to see a steady stream of it from Cruz’ opponents (both on FR and in the wider media spheres).
Thank you very much, glock!
You ROCK!
Thanks for the whole list....
TX Senator R Cornyn, John, Rank: #8 93% — 88% (Lifetime) ....
Yichhh!!
LOL....They list Snowe and Murky (Lib - AK) as lowest scoring Pubbies. (I thought Murkiest *won* as an Independent, but I could be wrong.)

Thanks. Well worth the time.
Patriot Sen Jeff Sessions (AL) is ranked lower than 0Care funder Cornball of TX???
Go, Ted, GO!!
“T” for Texas!!
Murkowski got elected as an “Independent” when an outsider conservative won the Republican nomination for Senate from AK.
But as Rick Santorum pointed out on Fox News back then it was “good” when she won because she would “caucus with the Republicans”. LOL.....
By the way, I was watching when McConnell and Cornyn were hanging around the clerks in front of the Senate as the cloture vote to increase the debt ceiling went through and there Murkowski was along with Corker hanging around them, talking etc. etc.
Off to the side was Ted Cruz, having long conversations with a couple of senators during the proceedings.
Cotton has been maneuvering his votes lately to look more conservative as he is running for the Senate.
Arkansas gave us Huckabee, so it figures you would have this..
I guess the old Democrat political machine in AR just turned into a Republican one.
Clean the House out.
95 PERCENT OF ELECTED REPUBLICANS EITHER FAKE CONSERVATISM OR REPUDIATE IT.
That’s what I thought. Isn’t it odd that so many places (her Wiki, Club for Growth) call her Republican? Maybe I’ve missed something.
