Rumor has it that hip waders are being brought in by the truckload due to all the impending blood that'll be running in the streets of California if the 9th circus ruling holds. Much like has occurred in other places once the "shall issue" ruling has come in to play. Oh, wait that's what DIDN'T happen.

It will be a more dangerous place for criminals. That includes the politicians that have ruined that state.

LOL! How many papers are not subscribed to because of their “fair and balanced” reporting? Used to be the old saying was “We don’t make the news, we just report it.” Long ago and far, far away.

Criminals have carried and will continue to carry without approvals, permits and training for years and they’re worried that law abiding citizens might carry too?

Lawmakers should begin looking at other ways to ensure fairness -- and at alternatives for protecting the public if a concealed-weapons permit is available to anyone who passes a background check and takes a safety course.Makes no sense. requiring background checks and safety courses are common infringements -- but that's not enough to satisfy the gunphobes?

Guess they didn’t/don’t know that it’s against the law. How stupid do they have to be to not understand that bad guys don’t give two dumps about the laws. ;>}

For a Marxist Dictatorship to succeed there must be NO CHANCE of an armed uprising against it. Its as simple as that. IMHO Madame Guillotine WILL have her say.

In the 70’s I seem to recall many men walking with six shooters on their hips.
Ala Marty Robbins.....
Seemed pretty safe to me and I knew others carried under their clothing.
Didn’t strike me as odd at all and doesn’t concern me in the slightest.
It is thise people, with a criminal intent, who bother me.
That and loud rap music but, Eyez digress.....

More dangerous for whom? Your beloved criminal class? Same ol’ crap, tell the big lie often enough and it becomes perceived as truth. What is a Mercury News, anyway, a Just-Us Department publication?

Once a person has passed a background check to purchase a firearm, the next step should be to allow the Gun Store to issue a CWP. Why add another level of bureaucracy by then requiring someone to go to a Sheriff or Police Chief?

This one isn’t final. Given it’s the 9th, I fully expect an en banc hearing which may overrule the panel. Stay tuned.

The MSM will NEVER look critically at the stats between conceal carry states and those that ban it. It’s proven to reduce violent crime.
