A condition placed on any reparations should be that the recipient must return to the country of his ancestors and never come back.

I would love to see this pushed. As someone who is overtaxed and overrun this would be truly beautiful thing to see it discussed and implemented. We need more defining moments to warrant the watering of the liberty tree.
Reparations can be viewed as a stimulus package. Two weeks after receiving their checks, the money will be pissed away and back in the economy. I am in favor of paying it if they sign a paper promising to shut up about it.
Anyone who is kidnapped and enslaved has a dynamite case and should be able to walk away with a million dollar payday.

Reparations have been paid several times over. Everyone involved, and everyone with parents involved, are dead. Full-blown welfare is easily available and generous. Opportunity abounds. It’s over. Nobody descending from slaves has want for anything their pre-slave ancestors had and the lineage lost. Nigh unto nobody can demonstrate even a reasonable connection between themselves, those harmed, and estates of their oppressors (those who can, come forward). It’s done.
Taking & giving based solely on skin color is grounds for civil war.
