Evil acts are given an aura of moral legitimacy by noble-sounding socialistic expressions, such as spreading the wealth, income redistribution, caring for the less fortunate, and the will of the majority. Let's have a thought experiment to consider just how much Americans sanction evil.

He's distorting the truth and he'll never admit directly that his favorite pResident is EVIL.

Name me one church that supports "government use of one person to serve the purpose of another".
There's a HUGE DIFFERENCE between "charity" and government laws REQUIRING "one person to serve the purpose of another".
Walter, that's not called "charity" when it's required by law.
"CHARITY" is done with FREE WILL and out of LOVE for fellow man and God,
and one has the OPTION to choose NOT to do it, because it is NOT REQUIRED.

Socialism is the basis and justification for our progressive tax code and, in spite of our saying we are one nation under God, it violates at least three of the Ten Commandments.

We use socialism's logic to rationalize our stealing from those who have, and the more they have, the more we can feel justified in our stealing.

We jealously covet what others have and use socialism's logic to rationalize our feelings and convince ourselves and others that we are justified to take their property.

We further rationalize and justify our covetous feelings against those who have by bearing false witness against them, calling into question their actions acquiring their property, their character, their motives, etc. and that we and our poverty by comparison are much better somehow than they are and that they don't deserve what they have and we do. They have. We don't. That's not fair, so we collectively steal from our neighbors.

But why stop with breaking just 3 out of 10?

Once we've embraced this socialist rational, we don't have much trouble killing the unborn, the most innocent and helpless of us all, as nothing more than an undifferentiated tissue mass, so it's really not killing.

Looking over the historical record, we can see that humans can and do rationalize any behavior, any want, any desire, good or evil, before, during or after the fact.

Silly humans. The God we claim to trust will soon become the God we fear. We've earned our consequences, as Jesus weeps and Satan rotflhao.

True in part; the voting patterns of a substantial percentage of Catholics seem to support the “rob (working) Peter to pay (non-working) Paul” theory of “charity”. But I’ve never seen an official church pronouncement that it should be policy.

Are you seriously saying that Walter Williams is a supporter of Obama???? Anyone who has EVER listened to Williams knows that is absolutely ludicrous. Here is just one example of Williams’ many articles regarding Obama:

Yosemitest, you need to look a little deeper at what is going on in America. Yes, even in the evangelical world there are many, many “head in the sand” Christians who do not wish to see what’s going on, who think criticism of the president/government is “rebellion” against God, and many Christians are also members of the Low Information Voter (if they even vote at all).

As someone has already pointed out, some elements of the Roman Catholic Church do advocate for “social justice”. There are also so-called Protestant leaders who have done the same (Tony Campolo comes to mind).

I see many Christians and Christian denominations who simply refuse to publicly object to what the government is doing. Many have the “it’s all gonna burn” anyway attitude so why fix it. Or, “it’s all God’s will”, and “He’s in control and if He wants Obama in the presidency, so be it”.

If you are not aware of these types of Christians, you just do not have “eyes to see”. We live in a perverse generation, maybe not the worst (history is replete with terrible times), but America is way past the crossroads for turning back. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think so. Even so, that doesn’t mean we don’t put up a fight.

But, getting back to Walter Williams. I don’t think you know who he is or what he believes. If you did, you would have never posted what you did about him.

I don't listen to Walter Williams at all, mostly because he's not on any of the stations I listen to.
Glenn Beck, Rush, and sometimes Sean as about all I have time for, and occasionally Michael Savage.
The Roman Catholic Church gets no respect from me, and IS the WOMAN WHO RIDES THE BEAST.

I may have made a mistake about Walter Williams, because I don't listen to him, but I've heard about him for years through military friends, and he's just not worth my time.
