This is awesome. The more Wendy Davis thoroughly forgets what state she is trying to run for governor of, the better. Helps to assuage paranoia anyone may have about her actually being able to govern Texas.
So, basically, her platform is abortion free-for-all and pushing for legal recognition of homosexual unions. Yeah, she’s a real winner.

The biggest voter turnout I’ve ever seen at my precinct was when the constitutional amendment defining marriage as one man/one woman was on the ballot. It passed by somewhere near 70%. I’m sure that support has eroded somewhat, but not enough to flip it.
Our Attorney General in Virginia is a leftist asshole. He took an oath to uphold the laws of the state, and like any lying SOB Democrat, he didn’t within 4 days of being sworn in.
Ken Cuccinelli, the Rep. former AG, would have done his job and let the Assembly change the laws.

Any week now a well-shopped Federal judge is going to rule Texas’ anti-gay marriage law unconstitutional. This is all part of the Left’s plan to “turn TX red”. Other states have stuttered impotently in the face of this judicial tyranny.Will Texas be the first state to stand up and REFUSE to obey?
Democrats are simply not playing the same game so to speak. They ONLY follow the rules when the rules serve their purposes. Otherwise, they quickly sue, refuse to enforce, or simply ignore the law outright. This is barbarism. They aren’t throwing spears of course, but that’s only because they don’t currently have to. If it came down to it, they would round up the opposition. This is not mere opinion. It’s fact backed up by plenty of historical precedent.
Consider Mexico. It has plenty of people and natural resources. It’s about the same population as Japan. So why is Japan so prosperous while Mexico is little better than a third world hell hole? You can actually create a stable business in Japan because they believe in the rule of law. If you try creating something nice in Mexico and don’t have a lot of money to spend on protecting it, the government or thieves (I’m being redundant) will steal it from you.

Democrats simply don’t get it. If we all resort to ignoring laws we don’t agree with, we will quickly slide into anarchy. The only moral, civilized response is to obey the law until it can be changed via lawful means. Otherwise, might makes right, and the right isn’t exactly short on might. We’re just a lot more conservative about using it.
I’m guessing you meant “turn Texas blue” and yes, it probably is. But how does ticking off the majority of a state’s inhabitants (including blacks and Latinos) make a case for your political party? Anyone who thinks that homosexual marriage is popular amongst the mostly hard-shell protestants of the black community and Catholic & Jehovah’s Witnesses of both the Latino and black sectors need their head examined.
She’s actually believing the leftist propaganda that EVERYONE is now on the homosexual bandwagon. What a stupid disease vector she is.
