Teen satanist Miranda Barbour admits to slaying LaFerrara, dozens of others

What a worthless piece of scum. I'm skeptical about the other murders but we'll see. She's already going down for life for admitting to this one murder that can be proven so she's got nothing to lose by claiming to have done others.

Apparently she has designs on being a jailhouse celebrity.

Well, what I would like to see for her is life in prison with no contact to the outside world or even access to her jail mates. Just lock her up in a drab cell and throw away the key. Slide just enough food through the slot to keep her alive - but hungry. When the empty food plates stop getting slid out the slot - wait 7 days and then collect her corpse and run it through an incinerator.

For other would-be satanist killers, consider her fate your Miranda warning.

I live eleven miles from North Pole,Alaska.

As far as I know we don't have that many missing people or unsolved murders in the interior.

I don' know any young people in that age group who might have known her. In my opinion the tall tale part of the story is bogus. She may have killed more than one, but she obviously did not learn how to hide her crimes. Practice makes perfect, and this was not the perfect crime...

Everything in North Pole is Christmas-themed. It is Christmas Day 365 days a year. The decorations are always up. [b]It never stops being Christmas here[/b]. Never. Wherever you are in the world, if you write a letter to Santa, and address it simply “Santa, North Pole”, your letter will most likely end up in this tiny Alaskan town.

The streets have names like Frosty Avenue and Kris Kringle Drive and Santa Claus Lane. The streetlights are decorated with a candy-cane stripe pattern. Volunteers answer all the letters from kids who write to Santa.

And she has help. Each week in November and December, a box of Santa letters is sent over to the nearby Middle School where the town’s 11- and 12-year-olds - the sixth graders - write back in the guise of elves. It is part of the curriculum.

Miranda Barbour, then, would then almost certainly have been involuntarily drafted as one of Santa’s elves, and even given her own special elf name. But apparently the job can be emotionally tough at times:

And they were going to kill dozens of their classmates. This sounds to me like civil war, [b]the non-Christmassy kids against the Christmassy ones[/b].

“What do you do to redress the balance?” I ask.

My week in North Pole has made me suspect that the job can mess you up. There’s poor Twinkle in the lotto shop, constantly in tears, powerless to help. Then there’s Jessie, realising that if she was the magic, then the magic was rubbish.
Jessie told me she wouldn’t be surprised if the plotters were in part set on their nihilistic path as a result of being letter-opening elves.

Did the satanic cult deliberately choose the home of Santa Claus to mock Christianity? Was the cult already entrenched in North Pole at the time of the school shooting plot, perhaps even helped organize it? Or did they move in afterwards, figuring all those goth kids were ripe for recruitment? Interestingly, one the participants said “[b]We were just going to shoot the bad kids[/b],” mirroring Miranda’s comments about just killing bad people.

Repressed, or as once known ‘teenage anger’, can, until it is known for what it is and what effects it wroughts, make someone a very nasty person.

Remember the cartoon of the shell of a man or woman, with what they really were saying, as a separate little man or woman inside them, and we thought that was funny? Now imagine the person, as described above, at the moment of inter-human contact and dealings, with the inner person being in a leather jacket and an open switchblade in hand.

The values that other kids get taught, become nothing more than ‘a repeat by rote, and they leave you alone’, which, until recently, even included Boy Scout values. They believe none of it, because what they are being told, is not what is going on. That includes church, for some of them! (Go tell your local clergyman THAT, and see how angry they get.)

You can see why ‘a lot of work’, and a lot of it won’t get fixed in a therapist’s office. There is a story about someone I met, attempting to feed their “counselor”, (for lack of their attested title) through a shut ‘chicken-wired-window’.

Only when ‘ a moment of clarity’ or ‘a personal epiphany’ happens, can the work start.

Now it appears like she left here after the first grade in May 2002. She shows up in Wasilla and Palmer through 2010, when she moved to North Carolina.

She also claimed to have a back-alley abortion at thirteen She told her mother about it, and was taken to the doctor. The doctor said there was no sign of any abortion.

BTW Palmer is about three hundred road miles from North Pole and Fairbanks.

Methinks she is setting herself up for an insanity defense.
