Just as predicted. How many times will people fall for the lie that you can have something for nothing?
Preppers’ PING!!
Hat tip to F15Eagle; bgill; PA Engineer for the heads-up!
The problem is that too many would answer, “just fine.”
America has no more right to anything not available to the most corrupt poor place in the world.
“While we were talking, a man arrived, stuck his hand into a pile of bags of bread on a shelf and found a can of milk.”
I wouldn’t fight over milk found hidden in the bread. They must like it sour?
If Saudi Arabia went socialist, they’d be out of sand in five years.
Some of us have been posting (and saying) that very thing for some time now...
In all likelihood the guy hid the milk with the bread himself, so he could buy one can then return later to buy the second one after the remaining inventory was gone.
I wonder if we’ll actually have another free election in this country.
Duh, sourdough joke. Nice. Didn’t get it until the moment I hit “post”
“So have you stocked up on powdered milk?”
I have some from the grocery but need to get more the next time I go. I have some professionally packed for long term storage also. No matter how much you have, you need more of this product.
I ran out of regular milk yesterday and opened a quart package of the instant which is one quart. One quart does not last long at all, can use that in one day if you drink it and cook with it. Drinking it only (not cooking with it) might make it last two days.
There is a difference between instant milk at the grocery and powdered milk one can get from long term storage companies. If you compare a cup of instant and a cup of powdered, you get more milk using powdered. It takes a bit of stirring for powdered to dissolve and it costs less, so I got the powdered from one of those companies - I figured I could stir a bit to have more milk.
What’s the best way to store powdered milk...for long term? Thanks, Kart ;p
Yes, we will. But I’m increasingly convinced that a whole heck of a lot of people are going to die before it happens. Not advocating violence or any sort of coup/overthrow (let alone seeking to participate in fostering such) mind you. I just see a lot of indications we’re headed in that direction.
The photos show that the commie government buckshot is pretty weak.
Winchester super X wouldn’t have been stuck in the skin like that!
I grew up in a semi-large family and we would occasionally run out of milk. Mom would give us powdered milk. Yuck. I've got a bunch of it but would probably only use it for cooking.
If you add some hot water to the powder first, then stir to form a paste, it will further dissolve better as you add the cold water. Once it is all dissolved, cap the bottle and shake until some bubbles form. That puts some air back into the mixture and improves the taste.
Once upon a time, there was only non-instant powdered milk.
I know, right?
Maybe they WANTED to use crowd control pellets.
Ahhhh, if only Hugo was still alive. They’d be bringing out body bags by the hundreds.
(The good old days)
