Conservative Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul top the biggest Tea Party presidential poll yet, while moderates New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are dumped at the bottom, undermining their hopes of being 2016 crossover candidates.
The online poll of 62,000 grassroots activists provided exclusively to Secrets finds that conservatives and Tea Party organizers stand fully behind the heroes of their movement, including outspoken surgeon Ben Carson, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Huckabee?! This Christian sure wouldn’t vote for him, but maybe it’s just the Southern Baptist vote he’s gathering. ;)
Go, Ted!!
WE need to get to the primaries and make SURE they don’t “give” us a Christie or Bush type this time!!
Agreed. We’ve been trying to tell the National GOP party this since it was McCain V Bush in 1999.
They don’t listen and then sound betrayed when we don’t fall for their betrayal.
Want conservatives to stay home in droves? Run RINO’s.
Want us to flood the polling places? Run real candidates.
Paul and Huckaphony are Shamnesty pros.
Best news I’ve had all day!!
I believe that his #6/7 showing will work to convince him to run. He is very low on my list of preferred candidates.
Maybe Bush can rise if he becomes even more liberal. /s/
How Amnesty Liberal Rand Paul keeps getting support is flabbergasting. Don’t folks realize he is not a Conservative!!
We will screw up 2016 because folks have no clue what a conservative really is

I think you have the concept correct in that each person or
group have a differing definition.
Well at least ONE of the top two is constitutionally eligible to be president or vice president.
Well at least ONE of the top two was born in America.
Rand Paul
We've been shouting that on blogs, forums, comment sections, YouTube videos, elections, and in online polls such as these, for years now.
No, the GOP-e doesn't want to hear it, but I think we're getting through. It's why Boehner dropped the amnesty bill from consideration recently. It's also why we've heard such weird rhetoric out of the old bulls in the RINO caucus.
They're scared to death of the Republican base, which is increasingly TEApublican, but there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. We're coming for their worthless hides, and they know it. A few of them are going to wise up and get on the rebellion train.
I beg to differ, friend.
These polls serve to put the RINO establishment on notice as to the mindset of the base. That's very valuable, in terms of steering their thinking, and in fortifying the growing patriot rebellion.
If we don’t get through, then this “grand experiment” is over and it will end in fire and death. For a lot of us.

Money controls the Electoral College, not voters.
It’s in the Constitution.
It would also end in Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for many, many more.
I take your point, though. We must get through to our political leadership and they must obey our will, or there's going to be turmoil like no one's seen in this country since 1861.
I agree with that too. I've actually made the same point frequently here.
Then we are in very good company...
