The Justice Department on Monday will instruct all of its employees across the country, for the first time, to give lawful same-sex marriages sweeping equal protection under the law in every program it administers, from courthouse proceedings to prison visits to the compensation of surviving spouses of public safety officers.
In a new policy memo, the department will spell out the rights of same-sex couples, including the right to decline to give testimony that might incriminate their spouses, even if their marriages are not recognized in the state where the couple lives.

“This means that, in every courthouse, in every proceeding, and in every place where a member of the Department of Justice stands on behalf of the United States — they will strive to ensure that same-sex marriages receive the same privileges, protections, and rights as opposite-sex marriages under federal law,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. is expected to say in a speech Saturday night at the Human Rights Campaign’s Greater New York Gala at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, where he will announce the new policy.

Exactly - in Massachusetts perverts are given preference, in CA adoptive or foster parents have to take homo-training classes so they won’t raise the children to be hateful bigots, etc etc.
And homos have a huge rate of child molestation, and the studies have been done proving that children raised by perverts have tremendous problems in every aspect of life - school, drugs, relationships, etc.
One good thing is that freaks in DC are taking their masks off and not even pretnding to be anything what they are.
And many Americans all over the country are getting extremely and seriously angry.

The adoption of white healthy babies by gay couples may be the way to turn even more people against gay marriage.
For example, did you ever notice that when the gays are making an argument for gay marriage they always mention hospital visits, taxes and estates, but never mention the type of adoption you describe.
If the public were to realize that the underline goal of the gays was to adopt such babies, they would all be against it.
I would say this what it means to separate the sheep from the goats.
We CAN”T get back to Constitutional government with something that Flips the very idea of “Good and Evil” in our Moral Laws embedded in that very document.

Justice is a Virtue-—so if we recognize a Vice like Sodomy-—considered so by our Constitution, since Rights come from God—not the State—and Rights are Natural Rights-—never “unnatural” ones.
Please don’t say CAN’T. Because I am not seeing the way gay marriage will go away legally any time soon. If ever.
While our rights come from Gd, we have to allow for all religious beliefs that don’t “harm” others (and sadly the word harm would probably be defined by consensus or supreme ct), and include the irreligious or nonreligious as well. Enough people exist today that feel that any couple who wants to, should be married. It’s a problem.
It is important at this point to lose this battle and go for winning the war. If you die on this hill, constitution dies with you. We need to let them have this one and fight hard for limited government and freedom.
I’m not giving up on this fight. You may do as you like, but I am against homosexual “marriage”.

This isn’t true. However, there could be instances where the birth mother chooses a same sex couple to adopt her child. But it isn’t true that in a foster situation, same sex couples are chosen OVER straight couples. Not true at all; the other, with both genders as parents, is preferred. If there aren’t any straight couples fighting to adopt an older child in the system, many states consider single parents and same sex couples.

So you’re not on board with the homo agenda but children are born “gay” and can be whatever “gender” suits them, and homo marriage is a done deal and we can’t turn back the clock [to the dark ages apparently].
1. Not on board with homo agenda.
2. A very small child should be allowed to play with the toys he or she wants to. I don’t know why children choose different play things or enjoy dressing up as whomever. No one knows whether it means something later or not. Kids are not gay or straight, they are just kids. I support them as they are.
3. Please tell me how to make gay marriage at this point illegal throughout the USA and how to make it, instead of a “change whose time has come” in most Americans’ minds, absolutely unthinkable as a phenomenon as it was in, say, 1960.
The time to have started this fight was the late 60s, when no fault divorce started becoming the law in state after state. Gradually the shame of being divorced was eroded, and subsequent remarriages were no longer viewed as adulterous. If we hadn’t let marriage become so debased they would never have wanted it.
The godless super-state emanating out of the DC region promotes gaydom and denigrates faith at every opportunity.
Dems want all the gay dollars they get. This campaign money is what propels these gay initiatives Plus if you go to DC and see the number of gays working in Congress (staffers) and the Executive (as staffers) you would be shocked. The DC Gov is as gay as the NY Times...the people who work there

I did not say they adopted children OVER hetero couples. But while there are waits for healthy White babies the wait can be made longer by the state sanctioned child abuse of putting such babies in the hands of perverts. I would rather have my offspring raised by the poorest Blackest sharecropper couple that were legally married than by the filthy rich and just plain filthy Sir Elton and his fellow “partner”.

The first part of what you write is 100% true, I wish I saw more evidence of the second.
Make no mistake, He'll bring down this puny country and give it to our enemies, if necessary.
And all these are easily taken care of without "marriage", except for filing as a married couple.
From people I speak to and comments I read here and there; there is a burning rage.
